My bill always runs about 179.00 a month . But the bill I got yesterday was 285.00 . I'm afraid to see next months bill . We keep it on 78 and have ceiling @ floor fans in the bedrooms . I can't wait for Fall !

I'm not running, but my nephew is . I have volunteered to pass out water at the water station with Operation Homefront . I think we will be at the 1 mile marker.

I was in Michael's the other night. I was at the one on Cobb Pkwy in Acworth . But I'm sure they all have a clearance section . There was an aisle in the back of the store with clearance items . Cake toppers , napkins & many other wedding items .

The men from Waste Industries just came to pick up my garbage . I don't know how they do it in this heat . I really appreciate their work . Trying to keep the AC on 78 only . Don't need a crazy bill ! My sister lives in Chicago They have been in the triple digits for 2 weeks now .

Now I know what Grandma meant when she used to say , "I wouldn't go across the street to see him"

I haven't even checked my mail since last Saturday. Mail stresses me out

I live in the North Paulding area and it does not bother me at all.A few years back, when my son went to East Paulding and Harmony Grove Church Road had the one lane bridge . And Crossroads was a 4--Way stop intersection // Now , that was a problem .I think it is great for parents to have all 3 schools in one area.And I think the scenery there is very pretty .Maybe someday they will have another exit,but I would not see that in the budget at thIs time

My son graduated from East a few years back. I just have to say I love East ! And congrats to your son !

Grandma can't go to graduation . Too hot to sit outside for so long.They said on the news that many people got ill from the heat this morning at McEchran (sp?) High ceremony

If livestock were allowed in subdivisions , my kids would have a few of those 'fainting goats' . They have begged me for those things

My nephew is going through the same thing , big time . He was ready to ask her to marry him & found out she was seeing someone behind his back. She dumped him quick , and her new boyfriend told him they would call the cops if he came around . So just have faith . It's not just men You have to kiss alot of frogs before you meet your handsome prince . P.S. He will never change .

My mother has one . She always wears it around her neck . She has a monitor in her house . She has used it once when she was in her chair & could not get up . The meds & firemen were there asap . Her blood pressure had skyrocketed & her ankels were swollen , it saved her from having a stroke . A couple of times she has hit it by mistake . The speaker on the monitor comes on and a very nice ladt asks her if she is OK . It's great

My son went to prom the year after he graduated . his girlfriend was a year/grade younger . It was her senior year and she wanted him to be her date . they also went to prom the year he was a senior @ she was a junior . They were together for 3 years , she is at college in Florida now . People don't always date in their grade. My high school sweetheart was 2years older than me . I don't see the problem if they are a couple . But I don't think anyone 21 should be able to go , for legal reasons . I did have a guy in my graduating class who went to 3 proms with 3 different girls

The family asked for privacy today .Very sad and such a beautiful young girl .

I found this article in the AJC . I wonder if many of you have had the same dilemma ? We made a strict budget right from the start . And I told my teen I cannot keep up with the Joneses . I'm reading here that some parents spend over $1,047.00. I think thats crazy . Well , maybe not if you have that kind of money to throw around . I did spend $300 . And that was being very frugal. My son works with a guy who is 25 and had had a felony charge in the past. He does not know what he did, or when. But he says this man is the best worker they have . Sadly, he is in a program where he can work there/but he can never get a promotion or go any farther with the company.. I hope these kids are spared a felony charge. I don't like to see anyone's life ruined.
