  1. Lord Have Mercy!!! I read this as Moose BOOGERS with cheese. And I haven't even opened my bottle of wine yet!!!
  2. Aetna did the same thing last year, or was it the year before that? So far, it's just been a scare tactic to get the companies to reach a desired outcome to their contracts. I would be really surprised if this comes to fruition. The goal is to get patients in an uproar so they add pressure to the non-agreeing company.
  3. There's a TV commercial that said the 31st.
  4. Some type of chicken, farfalle, spinach, cheese, something, something that comes out of a frozen bag. I really don't want to go to the grocery store and I felt like I hit the jackpot when I found this in the bottom of the freezer. I have no idea if it will be good but I figure after a couple glasses of wine it really won't matter.
  5. Not at all. If I can go out for the evening without any worries it is well worth it. There's nothing like the feeling of having a relaxing night out then coming home to a clean house and sleeping children. The feeling is even better when you know they've had a home cooked meal, homework is complete and packed away, and everything is in order to start the next day off without confusion. Then you top it all off with the fact that I don't have to drive the babysitter home. Yeah, worth every penny.
  6. I've been known to say.... Congratulations, you just earned yourself some silent time! If you're going to use ugly words, then you can't use words at all. Nod if you understand. I don't want to hear another word out of your mouth for the next _____ minutes. If you do, I will add 5 minutes per word. Nod if you understand. If I hear those ugly words again I won't even look your way. You and I will walk to your toy box and you can watch me choose a toy and throw it in the garbage. Once you let ugly words out of your mouth you can't put them back in. Once toys go in the garbage you c
  7. At your daughter's age it really depends on the duties. Will she be expected to take or pick the children up from anywhere? Will she provide her own transportation to and from the house? Will she be expected to cook or clean? A seventeen year old can do much more for a family than a thirteen or even a fifteen year old can. If I have to pick up and take the babysitter home I usually pay $7/hour ($2.00/child more for more than one child). If the babysitter has her own transportation I start at $10.00/hour. If I ask her to do anything more than simple babysitting and microwaving a mea
  8. I'm not sure if you are referring to me but in case you are I just want to clarify myself. Personally, I couldn't care less if he plays football for the NFL, drives a transfer truck, or sits on his butt for the rest of his life. I was simply answering the OP's question of whether or not he deserves it. A person only deserves something when they've earned it. Sure, he has effectively demonstrated his skills but has he earned the opportunity to continue his career? Some people may think he earned it by serving time. OK. Some people think he hasn't earned it because serving time is in no w
  9. I guess we'll just have to disagree. I can think of several people who don't deserve anything.
  10. You're right. I hate so see kids standing in the street begging for money. It's just not safe. Usually they are trying to raise money to get to go to these tournaments. I'm sure this is the reason some parents are fired up about the expense/profit. If the tournaments are going to happen this way I was just wondering if there is a way our county could benefit the like tournament companies are.
  11. Don't worry. I think the dog in Katcol's avatar could put an end to his misdeeds.
  12. It seems there is big money in little league baseball tournaments. I had no idea one tournament could produce so much. Does our county take advantage of this opportunity? It seems as though the county owned and maintained parks could use this as an excellent supplement to the budget. I know there are tournaments here but do we have anything of the magnitude of the ones listed in the article? If not, shouldn't we? http://www.ajc.com/sports/georgia-youth-ba...age_tab_newstab
  13. Even If we forget about his record I think he doesn't deserve squat! When people get a job it's because an employer needs help, not because someone deserves to be employed. Once you are given the opportunity it is your responsibility to prove you are an asset to the company and should remain employed. To deserve something implies he did something to earn it. For exampe, I take care of and provide well for my kids therefore I deserve their respect. Vick has proven to be an asset on the field and a liability in the media. No, he doesn't deserve to get his job back. But if the te
  14. Grandmas are great. My kids and I fight over who has the best. I swear my grandmother was sent straight from God to be my personal playtoy. There's never been a better and more fun person to walk the face of the Earth. Now, my kids say the exact same thing about my mother. I only hope one day I can be as good as they are. My kids have been with my mom all weekend. They'd rather be there than anywhere else. I called to check on them this morning and they were eating ice cream for breakfast. They said they were all wearing my dad's t-shirts around because their clothes were in the w
  15. In public, I always lock my car. I never left anything visible in it. It was one of my dad's pet peeves. If I even left my coat in the car he would fuss at me about sending an invitation to have my car broken in to. When I got my own house I started to relax. I leave my car unlocked with keys in the ignition and parked inside my garage. I leave my purse and all kinds of things in the car. It's been great not to have to look for my keys or purse when I leave the house. Last week I was in the kitchen and I heard the horn signal that my car was locked. It seems as though someone
  16. I'm playing tennis too. We're playing at Lost Mountain. Afterwards, I'm looking forward to a cooler of Bud Light Lime at the pool.
  17. To help her career I'd recommend she check with Dr. offices, dentist offices, or even pharmacies. Most grocery chains will provide on the job training for pharmacy techs. The best part is the hours can be flexible and possibly work with her school schedule.

  19. I won't spoil it for you but I will say that chap. 15 of book 15 is my favorite! By the way: Ranger calls Stephanie "Babe" while Morelli calls her "Cupcake." Since I think both men are hot Babe + Cupcake = Babecake!
  20. Are you sure this was the practice 13 or more years ago? I believe there have been tremendous changes in child support laws over the last 10 years. It may not be his responsibility after all.
  21. Janet Evanovich book Beer or Wine Personalized wine glass or koozie one month paid membership at a gym or tanning salon photoshopped pic of a bare rear end on top of whoever's head that has made her unhappy a tennis ball with someone's name written on it so she can throw it against the wall Starbuck's gift card
  22. It's tinkling in Bentwater.
  23. According to Channel 2, several members of the city council were in the park with their families during the 4th of July festivities. A group of men near them started smoking cigars. At least 2 guests of the city council's party had to leave the park because they are allergic to smoke. Since the park is a gathering place for families (usually with small children) the council jumped in gear to outlaw smoking in Marietta's park. Now, my question is does this law pertain to all parks in Marietta or just the square. Laurel Park is a Cobb County Park but it is within the city limits of Mariet
