I went through a period where my hair was thinning and my VERY OLD Dr. told me to use beer! I rinsed my hair with it about twice a week and it stopped thinning within two weeks. I still do this once a month. You need to get the beer out of th fridge the night before so you don't freeze your head. I learned that the hard way. When she takes a shower have her pour the beer throughout her hair and make sure she massages it into her scalp then she should shampoo and condition as usual. I have no idea why it worked, but it did. New doctors are great with technology and medication

If you decide to freeze the corn I suggest you use a vacuum sealer. It will help the corn keep longer and prevent freezer burn.

Remember you can do this all year. You don't have to do it just because you're having surgery. When they're on sale, I always buy family size trays of meat, prepare it, and freeze it. It's great when you're in a hurry or when you just don't feel like cooking. One of my favorite things to do with frozen casseroles is to set one in the oven before I leave in the morning so it can thaw throughout the day. Then I program the oven to come on at a certain time, and supper is just finishing when I walk in the door.

It only happens at night while you're sleeping? Do you tense up in your sleep or have vivid dreams? My hands do the same thing you are describing. Mine is from clenching my fists while I sleep. At one point I had to sleep with wrist braces to make it stop.

I used to swallow money all the time. There were probably several times I was at least worth a dollar! The pool at Crescent Park was great. Carl Couey would toss a couple handfulls of pennies in the shallow end and a couple handfulls of quarters in the deep end (around the high dive). I would swim to the bottom and when my hands were full I'd put the money in my mouth. If I took the time to come up for a breath all the moey would have been picked up by the other kids. Some times I waited too long to come up for air. I would forget the money was in my mouth and would gasp for breath

Am I the only one with OCD re containers?

Another great use for the clear take home containers is a plant terrarium. The containers you buy cupcakes and muffins in are the best because you can separate the seeds. When you close the lids it holds in the moisture and heat to help the seeds germinate. I save these and donate them to the teachers for science projects. -

Nasty! Every thing tastes the same. It doesn't matter if it's french fries, shrimp, hush puppies, or oysters. It is like it's all fried in the same grease. Yuk! -
I love, love, love brunswick stew. Could I buy some from you?

Outside of plastic containers I've found the best use for worchestershire bottles. You can pop the little shaker top off and fill it with peppers and vinegar to make pepper sauce! My family and I have always made pepper sauce in jars and it was a pain pouring it without making a mess. Now with that little shaker top from the bottles I can shake out just the right amount of pepper sauce and I don't have to worry about cleaning the mess off the counters. -
When you're walking you need to watch your step. They captured a 300 pound gator on Tybee yesterday.

Forget about cooking and go to the Waterstone Grill in Acworth. My mom and three of her friends went last night and said the meal was great. Two of them had stuffed peppers, one had trout, and one had a shrimp something. They were all more than pleased.

This isn't for a park. It is for a private company that charges tuition. Parents of each team member must be part of a booster club which arranges the competitions. Parents that have their children participating in this sport are fully aware of the expense from day one. Now that competition season is on the horizon some families are beginning to panic about the travel expense so the booster club has issued a mandatory fund raiser that involves selling certain items. Each child must sell a minimum of 25 of these items that range from $25 to $50.00 each. The benefit to the booster club is

Fundraisers, fundraisers, fundraisers. Do they ever end? First, let me say that if you are raising money for a cause like breast cancer or heart disease awareess don't hesitate to give me a call. If you are raising money for a new school you are still in the good. BUT To me there is a huge difference in fundraisers that will help the general public and fundraisers that help one or just a couple of individuals who are choosing to participate in an expensive sport. My child is involved in a very expensive sport. I knew that when I singed her up. Hubby and I did the math and the

Hey Subby I have a new business idea for you. You could offer these services at the end and beginning of mowing season each year. There are a lot of people who just never think about doing this stuff. For instance, think about a single mom who has her head full of taking care of her children and struggling with life's everyday obstacles. The last thing that would come to her mind is changing the oil in the lawn mower. If you advertised in some of the neighborhood newsletters I bet you would get plenty of work. The only thing is you would need to be willing to make housecalls. You co

It depends on what kind of information you are looking for. Are you looking for criminal records, court records, tax liens, previous addresses, school history, family tree? Beware of free information because there is no guarantee of accuracy.
