C/O 96 grad here, and there is truth in both points. Some kids aren't studying like they should, but the tests have changed along with the curriculum. When I was helping my 6th grader do statistics I knew there was a huge jump in what we did back in school. Oh, and it's "every freaking thing THERE is". And that's why I limit my son to one extracurricular activity at a time. He is in band also but that's mostly in school hours, but after school it's one at a time.

Consult an ENT. If the salivary gland duct is blocked it can be dilated in the office. I've done it many times.

I am still seeing people being denied care due to a pre-existing condition. Yes, people are able to get health care coverage in general, but the specific condition isn't covered. This has been since the ACA took effect, and one of its big promises was no pre-existing coverage denial. Reimbursements are going to get even crazier at the end of this year, when the new ICD-10 codes take effect. These new codes get so specific, there's a code for which specific bone in the finger (and on which hand) is fractured, there's a code for which room in the house an injury occured, there's a diffe

Pat's is the only place I use, so no help here. Doesn't she have weekend hours?

The dad was the pilot, so dad, two sons, and one the fiancee of the son were all killed. They were flying to Ole Miss for the 3rd son's graduation today. So a woman lost her husband, two sons, and future daughter-in-law on Mother's Day weekend and another family lost their daughter. The couple were to be married in October.

We're off Sweetwater Church and our power was out for about 15 minutes this morning around that time. -
Indiana to pass law that could allow discrimination against gays

It's to protect the baker who declines to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple from being sued and run out of business by said couple. There was a story of a 70-year-old baker who said no to baking a wedding cake for a same-sex couple, so the couple complained, sued, and the lady was labeled a bigot and the judge sided with the couple. She had to pay some crazy amount (I want to say over $100,000 plus bake the cake for free and pay court costs) and is now having to close her bakery because she can't afford to stay open. I have been in many establishments with sign posted that read "We reser -
We were there this weekend and there's a guy wearing a vest that says "ASK ME" walking each aisle. He has a printout of the new floor plan and will give it to anybody who asks for it, plus a voucher to get 50 fuel points. They're emptying the shelves of old inventory that hasn't sold well and reorganizing in general. There's a temporary set up now and they'll switch to a permanent one in the next few weeks. Two employees were walking across the top of the freezer section with brooms, and I noticed bright posterboard on each aisle with hand-written headers for what is in that aisle and had

Please and thank you, sir and ma'am. -
Shhh!! You're going to tick off the people who insist teachers and schools get more money for each ADD/ADHD student they have! Anyway, my oldest was seeing Dr. Clements with KenMar Peds when he was diagnosed at age 5. Dr. Clements referred us to a child psychologist in Marietta who met with my son and I both together and independently, he had myself and his teacher fill out forms and questionnaires for home and school behaviors, and the psychologist had an examiner come in for the testing/observation to make the full diagnosis. I received a 13-page report dictating the findings in det

I'd like to go back to any time before 1963 and see what my grandmother was like. She died before my parent met. I'd also like to have a talk with Jesus but in the present time. Also agree with the grassy knoll in Dallas, the mansion in Boulder, CO, and Malaysia Air flight MH370 to know where those poor people are.

I'd rather have the trash trucks on the road before 7:00 a.m. when the traffic is horrible.

What is a procrastinator's favorite day? Tomorrow.

You know the scene in Star Wars when he's flying the ship and it's starting to go awry and he's sitting there saying "come on baby hold it together" or something like that? Wonder if he was replaying that scene in his mind yesterday!

Again, the HOSPITAL failed to provide adequate protective gear for the staff, then when she became ill they blamed HER for a "breach in protocol" that was caused by insufficient protective equipment. And as far as refusing assignment? Nurses face abandonment charges or the threat of disciplinary action. The staff of the hospital was on 20/20 or Nightline or one of those nighttime news shows talking about the conditions surrounding that whole case. It's an interesting interview. I'm on her side because nurses do get the short end of the stick and are the first to be blamed. Texas Pres

Her employer failed her, and the staff, end of story. The hospital did NOT provide adequate protective gear when she was first dealing with him. Her mask/face shield ended just below her chin, far above her gown. her gown sleeves (notice gown, as in thin paper-like gown, not full heavy-duty suit) were not taped, her regular gloves were not taped down (not the heavy-duty gloves either) so she had many areas of exposed skin/scrubs. She was given inadequate training and preparation (no, ebola precautions aren't the same as universal precautions--universal just means gown/gloves/mask/goggles i

I know one of TWC's on-air personalities and he's a really nice guy. That being said, I do like TWC for their storm stories and stuff like that, but for actual weather, not so much. My BFF's dad was a founder of TWC and they let him go after it started getting popular and they had to move for him to find a new job, so I've never been a big fan of theirs! I trust our local news.

Miracle Whip isn't mayonnaise! Hubby and I have that "debate" on a regular basis and have one jar of each in our fridge too. Anyway, I like the BOGO idea to get one jar of each. I was a crunchy girl growing up but my oldest is creamy only, so I've slowly converted to creamy. It's easier to spread and to bake with. Oh, get some creamy and add the peanut butter morsels to it! -

I know a taxi driver that invested in a new set of underwear! Then a lottery ticket!

So sorry about your mom. Prayers for her recovery and for your family as they're supporting her through it. Kennestone hospital's women's center has a wig shop and lots of options.

Hubby had one for the Jack Russell when she was a puppy. There were no wires to bury in the ground. You put the collar on the dog and the transmitter stayed in the house and had a radius up to 90' so you'd set the transmitter nearer to the front or back door depending on which yard the dog used. You put flags near the edge of the perimeter and walk that with your dog on a leash. If the dog went beyond the flags to the edge of the perimeter it'd give a little poke. After a few days the dog would associate the flags with "do not pass" and stay in the boundary lines. The dog got to the poin
