Meth is the DEVIL! Have been dealing with it with my son for a couple of years now and it is a fight that will go on for a long time it seems. It just takes control and they are not the same kids that we raised. Sorry you are going through this.... It seems that no matter how long they are off of it they seem to always go back to it.....I just don't understand!

Did the hobo dinner tonight, pinto beans, fried pork chops, fried taters, cole slaw & cornbread. This is my mama's favorite and I cooked for her tonight.

We have a pair that we see on a regular basis - 4 or more times a day.

I thought that the county reduced the school tax by 50% once you turn 65. Maybe I was misinformed. I sure hope not......I need to do some checking I guess.

I agree I was hoping Jacob would go first before Casey.

Glad to hear so many good reviews of Ragsdale Htg & Air. I have them and 2 other companies coming out so I can make an informed decision.

I emailed one of our commerce members 2 days ago. I have not heard back so I called them this morning thinking maybe they didn't get my email. I told the receptionist that I needed to get someone to come out and give me an estimate on getting my heating/air system completely replaced. She took all the info and said that I will get (name given) to call you back in just a few minutes. That has been 2 hrs. and no call back. My guess is that it will run anywhere from $4000-$5000 but they don't seem to be interested. I have called another commerce member since I wanted 3 estimates and g

My sister used to do that with my kids, one year she got my daughter a PlayDoh hair factory. Ever tried to pick up little spaghetti strands of playdoh out of carpet? What a mess. I got her back though when I bought her son 1,000 piece set of the tiny lego blocks. After that we called a truce!

That is my situation - I don't LOOK handicapped but my lungs only function at 38% and I cannot walk very far even after using my 3 inhalers. I have received some hard looks but I am legal and like you said, you can't always see the disability. If I am having a good day and breathing fine I will park in another spot that is not handicap parking since I need the exercise.

My sister had something similar. The protein in her urine was over 6500 and I think the normal is 150 so they put her on massive doses of steroids along with some other meds. That has been almost a year ago and she has been weaned down on the steroids to 5 mg now instead of the 70-80 mg she was taking. They are telling her that she will have to remain on the 5 mg for 2 years. Just as a side note: When they first put her on the steroids she had more energy and totally cleaned her house top to bottom, cleaned all the closets and made many trips to Goodwill, and got everything organized

Where do you order your juice? What flavor have you found that you like? I have tried the ones that are suppose to taste like Marlboro but they really don't. Still trying to find one that I like.....

I bought a kit and just wanted to know what flavor that you like. I have tried a few different ones but can't find the right one.

You are right! I did this with a grandchild and everytime they would come over the only clothes that came with them were worn out, dirty, had holes or did not have a matching outfit. If we wanted to take them out we had to go buy new clothes and I used to send them home but no more. After 2-3 times of having to buy new clothes I just keep them here.

We used it once (not by choice) when my son was severely burned over 40-45% of his body. He was airlifted from Paulding Hospital to Augusta Burn Center and the bill was $22,500 for the 1 hr. flight. Of course, it saved his life also and I just don't think you can put a price on that, so I was glad that they were there.

I'm close to Nebo & McClung and we haven't had any problems. -
For poison ivy: I had an old fashioned pediatrician when my kids were growing up and were highly allergic to poison ivy. He told me to go to the grocery store and get a bar of the brown Octogon soap and wash them in the shower from head to toe with the soap. Then to fill the tub with about 4-6" lukewarm water and add 1-2 cups of Clorox to it and sit them in it and rinse them all over (except hair & face) with it. Their poison ivy would stop itching and would dry up within a couple of days. He didn't believe in prescriptions unless absolutely necessary and preferred the old fashioned r

I rechecked their website today and it now reads "balcony with furniture". When I first checked it a couple of days ago it said "balcony with 5' railing". Wonder why they changed it? Could it be because the railings are not 5' (according to a pic someone posted earlier)? Maybe they were anticipating a lawsuit.....don't know but it is sad that this lady lost her life. I am praying for her family, it has to be horrible for them. I am heading to PCB on Sunday and I never ever lean on the railing cause ya just never know how secure they are even if they look secure.

Where did all the water come from? Busted pipes? Sorry that you had such a mess.

According to the Laketowne Wharf website "large balconies with 5' railings". This is where they were staying according to the newspaper link.

It is bad in S. Paulding right now, strong winds, hail, rain, hail and lightning. Scary storm.... We are off of Hiram Sudie and I felt & heard the wind all of you are talking about. I thought my windows were going to come into the room and the front door off of it's hinges. Very scary!
