We started a few years ago only buying for the kids in the family. We do not buy for anyone over 21 since as someone else stated "they have everything" and do not need anything. I was watching Dateline ID today and there are many people that go missing like this. Today it was a young guy about 21-22 and they found his truck 9 hrs. from his home with no trace of him. No sightings, no evidence of foul play, absolutely nothing and as of Mar 2010 he has been missing 7 months and still nothing. Scary for sure!

You could just set up a page for yourself just for things like this. You don't have to request or accept any friends but you would be able to pull up this type of info and that of the one that was on there regarding the missing teenager. You just set your profile to "private" under setting and nobody would even know you were there.

Sounds like my old neighbors (they got foreclosed on and moved). They would play and I use that term very lightly in a metal garage with no insulation. The band sounded like just racket to me. I even ask her if her two yr old was beating on the drums....she didn't think it was funny but that is what it sounded like. Sorry that they got foreclosed on but sure am glad they moved. Maybe they moved into your neighborhood......if so, I am sorry!

Just had a 6 point eating acorns in my front yard. I love to see them. We have 2 does, 4 yearlings and at least 1 buck. If my daughter brings my camera back, I am gonna get some pics of them in my front yard. The grandkids love getting to sit in the house and look out the window and watch them.

I tried but could not adjust to monovision. I felt like I was lopsided or drunk - very strange feeling. A friend of mine adjusted fine to her monovision so each person is different with being able to adjust or not. You could always try it and if you can't adjust you can go back and get the other one done. Good luck! I am glad that I did it and probably need to get an enhancement mainly due to my age and vision getting worse because of that.

Bought some Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark yesterday....and everytime I walk by the bag I grab a couple. OMG, I have got to hoard up some of them for sure!

We had a heat pump with the electric heat strips and in the coldest part of the winter we had to keep the heat strips on to keep it warm in the house. We replaced it with a regular heating system and it seems to be warmer and the unit runs less than the heat pump did. We are very satisfied with it and would get another one if this ever needs replacing. I think heat pumps work great down in south Georgia and the Florida region but up here it gets colder and has to work harder.

Could it just be the partial month charge? I know when we got our 1st bill it was alot higher with the activation charges, partial month service etc., but now the regular monthly charges are about what we were told. I would call them and get them to explain the bill and see if there is something they can do for you. I love Verizon!

For insulation you can buy stuff that is called "sound batts insulation". That in the walls and then sound deadening sheetrock on the the wall and you should be set to parrrrtttty.

I have logged out numerous times, cleared history, cleared cache and even rebooted the computer and it is still coming up the same way. When I log out it comes up and says that I am "signed off" and don't know what else to do.

Anybody else have any suggestions on how to turn them off?

I love going to the spa. The massages are wonderful. I have been to Spa Sydell and Natural Body Works at the Avenues. They are very relaxing and know which muscles need extra work such as the shoulders or the neck to relieve the tension. I wish I could get one monthly but can't afford it. My daughter used to get the maternity massage and it was suppose to be good for the baby by increasing the blood flow etc. You should definitely try it once.

I have logged out and then logged back in for the last 3 days and when I log in, the forums are already turned on. I don't have the option to pick the ones I want. That is they way it used to be before the upgrade but now they are all turned on - I don't have to type the password "ON" for any of them. Any other ideas how to turn the others OFF?

Before the upgrade when I logged on I had to go to the password protected forums and "turn them ON". Now when I log on to pcom all of the passworded forums are all turned on automatically. How do I turn the ones off that I don't want? There are only a couple that I actually want to see.

This is obviously from some teenagers that were too OLD to trick or treat anyway. Sorry that it has upset & worried her. This kind of thing just makes me furious!

Are they like an electric blanket that has a temperature control or it just preset and you turn it on and it stays warm? Would it be safe to use on a 6 yr old's bed?
