Absolutely. Momof3 and I have very similar beliefs in raising and especially in being protective parents. Who could EVER predict this? You do more damage teaching your child to live in fear, in this case. Now, let her ride her bike alone down the street? Hell to the no. NEVER. But, I watch my kids like a hawk when they are outside and I make them repeat the "rules" to me EVERY single time they go out. The news media all try to see who can get "the story" first- all facts aside. Remember when they did this during the Bush/Gore election? They continually spouted off states and which candidate had won there only to have to go back and recant later. Yes. Ive never understood the need for this. Ridiculous.

I have all of our kids Christmas done. For us, that is no small feat! Between us, we have 6 kidlets. 3 are grown so they are getting a "grown up" gift this year. But that leaves a lotta 'babies' still.

YES, you MUST. You will not be disappointed. Breathtaking. Both the natural backdrop as well as the buildings, which are part of an old English style dairy, are amazing. This time of year, they have it decorated for Fall and it is done beautifully.

I am getting dressed to go out dancing for the first time in 5 months!!! We have found a wonderful babysitter so hopefully we will repeat this each month now. I love that sweet baby more than life but everyone needs to get out with grownups every once in a while. How 'bout you all? Tonight or this Weekend.

I say GOOD FOR YOU ! Savor and enjoy it. You will never ever EVER have this time again. I wanted to be at home for soooooooooooooo many years with my son but couldnt. Now I am home with my baby girl and it has been the most fun ever. Because I wanted this for so long, I guess I think back to all the times I had to leave my son or put him to bed when I REALLY wanted to stay up and play with him or watch a movie. Enjoy it!!!! You are very blessed.

Thank you and that really IS encouraging. You all would be astounded if you had heard and seen the way he spoke to us at the last hearing. We are not perfect but I KNOW that we HAVE to be some of the VERY best foster/adoptive parents that this countys DFACS has had. This Judge was well known for not giving kids to family members. We could not be any more polar opposite than her "parents" and do not allow them in our presence EVER. But, he didnt give us a chance even after we were cleared by DFACS itself(background check, home inspection, financial records, etc). I just pray this young

Let me just add this: as Will and I have been jumping through hoops trying to adopt this little baby(cracked skull by her parents, if you can call them that....and SECOND child taken into State care), I have seen the nasty side of this sort of case. I was sooooo hoping we would be ENCOURAGED by the process as I have always had a VERY negative view of the State and DFACS. No such luck. Our view is only worse and THIS time, it is firsthand. Let me just tell you all, the State puts THEIR wants and desires over children. MANY Judges feel they are God and have no one to answer to and their

Yes, I think you are right and thanks for the reminder. I do remember that just like you said here. I remember either hearing Cissy or Whitney tell that story and it made me tear up and gave me chills. THAT is a Mothers love. All the others only used and exploited her for their own reasons just like Michael Jackson and other very famous people with addictions. They are always surrounded by "yes" men. Cissy stood up and told her "no". Cissy tried and from what I've always heard, she never gave Whitney a pass and expected her to live the way she was raised- which we all know she didnt.

So true. I will say though that Dollar lost any respect I MAY have had for him as a servant of God when he refused to open the books during the Hollifield thing. Billy Grahams ministry is one of the ONLY ministries to never have had a scandal. Their rules are no closed doors(literally)and open books to anyone who cares to look. THAT is how it should be.
