I was eating lunch at the waffle house in New Hope and the Life Flight came, along with the ambulance and firetruck. The life flight landed at Publix. No one was transferred in to the life flight. They ended up leaving empty. Then the crime scene unit showed up. Anybody know what's up?? Prayers for all involved!

Yikes, so scary. It sucks that you can't protect them from everything. Just reminds you of how vulnerable they are. I hope they take this man away and lock him up and throw away the key. BUT we all know that the punishment won't fit the crime. However, at least they caught him and hopefully justice will be served.

I turned 29 and had a mini midlife crisis... that's why my daughter was born. I thought I was running out of time. It hit me that my "biological clock was ticking". LOL. When I turned 30 last year I got a tattoo. My first ever. 31 was better. So far, I have not had the urge to do anything out of the ordinary this year, however, I have been 31 for less than a month so we will see... I can guarantee you that there won't be anymore babies... on purpose anyways. MIGHT I ADD that this is not Jared talking... it's the wife! LOL!

OK, I think it's funny you bring this up... My son was A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. However, my daughter was not. I felt so guilty because I honestly did not think she was very cute at all. She was born with black, curly hair that looked like a mohawk for months. It is blonde now. I honestly looked at her and wondered if she got switched at birth. Jared looked at me with an evil eye too... She finally grew in to her cuteness but it sure took a while. Let me show you what I mean... First one is my son, second one is my daughter. Then, later is a pic of me with both of them as they got older.

Oooh, now I am jealous. Wish I could convice the hubby to take both kids away for the weekend... maybe when they are not 1 and 4! Have fun!

No, I was at the aquarium all day today. Good time but exhausting! Actually, next time we have a big bonfire we will invite you guys. We have had a couple of bonfires but Saturday it was just plain cold. Next time it will be kid friendly too so you can bring your families... last Saturday included beer pong for the boys. I just stayed on top of keeping everyone in line. Fun times!

Just a tip, if they tell you that you didn't make it in to the school you wanted, check back right before the school year. Sometimes, these parents put their kids on several wait lists and they they get a spot at all of them so they can choose whatever school they want. Obviously, this is rude and inconsiderate but the PRE-K director told me it happens all the time. We were on a waiting list last year and when the school year actually started they ended up having open spots even without a waiting list. Good luck!

Trying to decide what to do for Memorial Day... should we enjoy a long weekend around here or do something like SeaWorld or camping? What are your plans?

wow, what's next? a boob job for an 8 year old? I'm sure it has been done but wow. BY THE WAY, I think it should be considered child abuse. If I randomly poked my child with needles they would be taken away, rightfully so.

Awesome! Congrats to you for teaching her the value of education and to her for sticking with it. You never know how many lives she is going to touch. As a nurse, I assume it is going to be a lot. Thanks to people like her who are willing to study and work hard to be servants when we are in need!

Both of mine just got over it last week. It's NASTY, but a few months ago my son actually had strep of the butt. Yep, I bet you didn't even know it existed. We didn't either but it was awful. Good luck to you. We were able to get our prescription for free at Publix!
