  1. We also offer pruning/trimming. We are fully licensed and insured so even if we do cut our fingers off you won't be liable and yes, we take away all the clippings. The owner of the company (Jared) does all of the work too. So, let me know if you want a free estimate. Thanks!
  2. Hmmm, didn't see anything but sounds concerning. Keep us updated if you find out.
  3. check out the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cartersville-Cares/181882645196280. They take money and other stuff too.
  4. Yes, lawn care companies use products that are only available commercially. I had to study and take a lengthy and difficult test at West Metro Tech in Acworth in order to be licensed to apply the products. All of the products I buy are from Lesco. You can get in big trouble if you are caught applying them commercially without a pesticide license. These products are not sold at hardware stores and you have to buy them in their concentrate form before mixing them with water. Hope this helps!
  5. If anyone knows of anyone that is in need of baby clothes- boy or girl, or baby items please send me a DETAILED message. I would like to help someone who has lost stuff in the storm. I have a lot of stuff from newborn to 2t for boys and newborn to 9 months for girls plus a ton of baby items and toys. Thanks.
  6. Good Morning America has been covering the Royal Wedding for almost an hour now... I think there's more news going on here in the states that we should be talking about- the storms for instance. It's kind of frustrating.
  7. My dad lives there, I have been listening to the scanner. Apparently there are many people dead there. My dad and his wife finally got through the busy lines to call me. They are just devastated. They said it is awful and that most of the town has been leveled. Thank God they are OK and their home seems fine. However, her ENTIRE family lives in the area and they cannot reach many of them along with close friends. Just so sad. Staying up late and worrying about it right now.
  8. Unbelievable. TG (TruGreen) is nuts. That's why we left that company. They were pushing hubby, after 13 years, to knock on neighbor's doors of customers as early as 7am to solicit their services. AND if they don't get 3 sales a week they are written up and have to work mandatory Saturday's. These aren't even salesmen. They are the production team. Ever wonder why you don't see results from TG (unless you are one of the lucky ones to have a good tech)? Well, it's b/c they have to do so many stops a day and make so many sales per week. If they don't they are harshly repremanded and writ
  9. Yea, we are in Autumn Creek and have not seen anyone or heard anyone. Kind of scary though. What subdivision are you in?
  10. WOW! I am so excited. I cannot wait to make "Jared boxes" with my 4 year old son and deliver them. Thank you for sharing this. What a wonderful idea.
  11. I know... I picked up pinestraw for $3.33 a bale last week. Can't beat it!
  12. That was a great article. The same people that dress their little girls like tramps are the same ones on the news begging for the safe return of their daughter, probably abducted by some pedophile because half of her hiney was hanging out of her shorts and she was advertising what wasn't for sale. I dread the days when my little baby girl grows old enough to want to start dressing like everybody else because what I see young girls dressing like is NOT acceptable, I (this is the wife talking) was not even allowed to wear pants until I got out on my own! Last week I was camping and it was
  13. The number comes thru as private so I don't actually have the number. Do you know if it works for that? The girl at AT&T said that the only options were not answering or changing my number so I would be interested in finding out if this would work for a blocked/private number.
  14. Ha! I love all of the advice... they haven't called back since around 1:00 so hopefully they got on with their life. However, I have my tape recorder ready and I also have my calls forwarded to my hubby in case I miss them. Thanks everyone! You guys rock.
  15. Sounds like a stupid publicity stunt to me. Idiots.
  16. This was a good option... but it doesn't work on cell phones. Dang.
  17. So, I keep getting this call from a private number talking VERY dirty. (This is the wife talking, Jennifer). I already called AT&T and they said that the only thing I can do is change my number or not answer the phone calls. Is there really nothing that can be done? Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I prefer NOT to change my number because we own a business and that is really not a good option. However, not a ton of people have my number, only current or cancelled customers. Can't think of anyone that would have a bone to pick other than some deadbeats that don't want to pay
  18. Vistaprint is super cheap and fast shipping. Search promo codes online and you can get an even better deal. Or, just go in and design them but don't order them and they will send you a coupon sometimes if you add them to your cart but don't order them. Good luck!
  19. Stars and Strikes has an egg hunt (per their advertisement) and a kid's carnival from 10-4 tomorrow.
  20. Me too! I love parties... and Starbucks. We should do it!
  21. So, the time has come to hire an employee... just a part timer to start. I don't fear picking the right person but I need help how to legally do it! Does anyone have any experience with this? Any help would be appreciated letting me know the legal steps of hiring an employee. Thanks!
  22. Hey! We live on Cedar Bay... actually this is the wife talking, my name is Jennifer. Jared just goes out and works all day while I post stuff under his signature!!! I will send you a PM later and maybe we can get together sometime! Nice to "meet" you!
  23. I'm in Autumn Creek and it went right over us. I was hoping it would not wake up the baby!!!
