  1. Awwww, man!!! I MEANT to watch this. I LOVE me some Chef Gordon Ramsay . 'Hell's Kitchen', the BBC version of 'Kitchen Nightmares' and the 'F-Word' . I'll have to watch it On Demand . I keep wondering if they are going to do a new Hell's Kitchen ???
  2. Absolutely. Also, for a young woman (or any woman for that matter)...be very careful in how you handle a pull-over at night. Because of the many police cars that look like say a Camaro or standard SUV, just blue lights flashing and no distinguishable markings. Made very sure you pull over in a well lit, well populated spot. There was a serial killer a few years ago who purchased the blue light set and would choose his victims by following them out to secluded places and 'pulling them over'. If you have a question, or a gut instinct something is not right I would not hesitate to be on the
  3. I know how you feel, and I think those thoughts never leave us. I walked into the kitchen last night when my Britaini got home from the store. I put my arm around her waist and said "Jump up on my hip", lol. She was like "Mommmmmmm" . She's almost 25 and the memories of her riding around the house being carried on my hip are just still so vivid for me. Then I notice she is taller than I am, a fully grown young woman . Only another Mom understands .
  4. Awwww, Happy Birthday to your Brittney .
  5. Aaargh...I feel you. I was preggers with Britaini through the summer. I shaved my head. No really, I shaved my head. I looked like a pregnant Annie Lennox, and I did not give a sh*t .
  6. Yes please!!! I'm one of the very few born and bred Georgians that utterly detests summer and everything about it. I mean everything...with the exception of flippy-floppies .
  7. Yes, we do take debit, Mastercard and Visa~Cash and personal checks . I'm home now, not at the store so I will call Britaini and ask her to post our Karen Kingsbury here on the board to you.
  8. Watching my grandson today for a little while . Then I need to finish reading this really great anthology by Harry Shannon, and bang out 3 or 4 reviews I am behind on . It's weird for me today because yesterday felt more like Friday than today. Oh, and I think I am taking a nap once they pick up A.J. Matter of fact, I've just decided that it's pretty high on my priority list, lol.
  9. I'm coming, along with Britaini and Leah .
  10. Very good example of how to disagree, agreeably . We (Bookworms) do honestly appreciate your thoughtful, and honest criticism...so + 1 for you. I'm all out of ratings for the day but I wanted to thank you for your input anyway .
  11. Oh, I know! I hope you both feel well soon!!!
  12. No. It was the other end first, then puking, then back to the original. I would definitely take your baby in to the dr. As adults we can work our way through it but you cannot take any chances with an infant.
  13. It's definitely going around. My husband had a well check last week while I was sick and he mentioned it to our GP. She said that they had been seeing a lot of this for the last couple of weeks. Her only advice was to stay hydrated (as much as possible) and to not take pepto or anything to try and stop the natural process of things. You will be miserable for awhile. I hate to hear of anyone having to go through it .
  14. Oh, yes there is! I am so sorry you have it!! My grandson gave it to me Sunday before last. I had some issues, and cramping on Monday and Tuesday but took Pepto and went to work anyway. Wednesday the puking started . It was horrible, the stomach pain and no appetite. All together it lasted a week. This past Monday was the first day I felt normal again. Just drink as much water as you can hold down, let everything run it's course (best advice I got from copschick), and try to at least eat crackers and jello. It's a rough one, but thankfully no one else in my family aside from grandso
  15. Many years ago my Mom tore her Achilles tendon, literally ripped it in half they said. She required immediate surgery. She was diabetic and the incision from the surgery just would not heal for months and months, despite everything they could think to do for her. Her dr. finally sent her to a specialist here (I think in Marietta) that put her into this oxygen tank type thing. Within a few weeks there was significant improvement, and after several treatments her leg was completely restored. I wish I could give you more information but she is no longer with us. This had to be around ten ye
  16. It actually does bring in several customers. I'm only there two days a week and rarely does a week pass without someone mentioning (in a positive manner) the posts on p.com. We did list the daily special as just that for several months (maybe longer, I don't recall) and at times the posts were not even viewed more than 2 times. Thanks to everyone contributing, and I know Susan is taking suggestions into consideration so keep it up.
  17. WOW, that is absolutely precious. What a sweetheart!!!!!
  18. Everyone in my home is off work today, except me...off to The Bookworm .
