  1. I think this is the first time I have ever agreed with anything you have posted, lol. I HATE walmart and can count on one hand the times I have been in one in the last 4 years...
  2. I cannot even imagine. Much love, and hopes for a positive for resolution.
  3. It was weird that I didn't burn. I noticed (right around the age of 30) that for the first time in my life my left arm had a bit of color to it. You know, from just regular commute driving, and that was odd because I had only ever burned and peeled in sun. So, that next year I figured "what the hell" and gave the tanning bed a shot, I actually began to tan! The added benefit was to my joints . You know those wedding pictures I posted yesterday? That was me at the height of the tanning, I still looked like Casper to the average person but by god that was dark for me, lol.
  4. I'm married to the most awesome man on the planet, my children are all healthy... and we have a 4th grandchild on the way in a few months .
  5. Me too! It was more like 16 months for me . It felt awesome though, didn't it? (Joint-wise, I mean) .
  6. I used to tan...in my thirties. I have arthritis, and have had all of my life, The tanning beds gave me an immediate sense of relief. It's been almost 17 years and I still remember how awesome it felt. If you have joint problems and can find anything similar without the risk associated with tanning beds, I say go for it!
  7. HAHAHAHAHAHA You people crack me the hell up...for real .
  8. I wouldn't walk across the street to see any of them in my lifetime, honestly. Except Reagan, I might have waved at him . Honestly, who gives a sheeze?
  9. My husband always gets the girls (my daughter and his) a stuffed animal, a card and a small box of candy... nothing for the boys . As to the Easter baskets, yep I still do that too (my girl is 26 and my boy is almost 24). I have to hide it and everything, they insist on it (more her than him). Last year I was laughing and asked my daughter how long I had to keep this up...she said, and I quote "You can stop when you're dead". Smartass .
  10. I feel very inadequate now after reading about all of you careful shoppers . I try to buy all of our meats at Patak. If I don't get a chance to make it by there I only buy particular brands of chicken from Kroger, never the beef or anything else (if not Patak, I'll do without). I'm a brand person, meaning I only buy the same brands of products I have used all of my life, regardless of what is on sale. (ex.) I ONLY purchase Blue Plate mayo . I don't clip (or remember to use when they mail them to me) coupons . Fresh fruits and vegetables, I will purchase anywhere. I probably waste
  11. Awwwwww ...cuteness overload!!!
  12. I've often thought we needed a group locally (not sure where we could meet) where people who are interested could learn tarot and read for one another. I'm open to suggestions. Like a book club, but not...lol.
  13. No. I've never actually read anything terrible or so terrible that I would feel the need to hold back if that makes sense? Every reading is full of possibilities...and even when seeing things less than favorable there are always options given during the reading to help you make better choices and steer clear of that outcome. The thing about tarot is that it is an amazing tool to help you bring to the forefront of your consciousness things you already know subconsciously or are dealing with and don't want to admit to yourself. I firmly believe we already know the answers. Tarot helps you
  14. I read in person. Because it is all about energy, and intuition I feel like the person I'm reading for needs to hold and touch the cards, and be very 'present'.
  15. I read Tarot. Unfortunately I don't know of any groups, either. I can tell you that Char sells Tarot, and other metaphysical type things (herbs, crystals, etc) out of the cigar shop she and her husband own, She may know of some groups in the Cobb, Paulding area. She is an awesome sweet lady. Cigar shop
  16. As weird as it may sound that's why I don't use a fictional moniker, and the picture is me. It keeps me honest, in the fact that I am what I am, and I'm careful not to say anything I wouldn't say to someones face. I really do try to treat everyone like I want to be treated. It's just the decent thing to do.
  17. I don't know what the issue is with your daughter, but . Positive thoughts and well wishes, whatever the situation.
  18. Ugh. This whole thread had made me really, really glad I have almost completely given up sweets and all other snack- preservative laden foods. I also stopped drinking any type of soda 6 weeks ago. I'm paying a lot more attention to the garbage I have been ingesting, and in making just that one change (lessening garbage) I've noticed a HUGE change in my appetite, and a definite change in my body and all around health.
  19. This...total gross out. Reason 1,000,001 that I don't visit Walmart.
