I agree 100%. If we didn't have superb reception/signal in our house we would have kept ours too. As it turns out, our cell phones in home are clearer than our landline ever was. Go figure .

Check senior centers as well.

We finally dropped our landline early this year. Absolutely NO regrets, I HATE talking on the damn phone anyway...and it seemed the only calls we received anymore were telemarketers at all hours even though we were on 'no call' lists. We have 3 cells in the house between us, and fortunately we have fantastic reception here. I am the prime reason we kept is long as we did, and I am super happy that I caved and agreed that it needed to go . We also save approximately 80.00 per month by not having it. NO regrets .

I can't even imagine. I only hope there is some knowledge gained and somehow you guys can all work towards some type of resolution beneficial to your entire family. Strength and peace to you and yours.

I could not agree more...I'm always sad for the tree as well. *total tree hugger here* I don't decorate for Christmas at all. I do love giving gifts to the people I love and seeing their faces when they receive them. My grandson is a hoot. A side note to say that working retail can also quash those 'Chirstmasy' feelings, in that I am so sick and tired of Christmas music I want to jam a fork in my ear.

Lol, I did not think f that...you're right . It's still very pretty. It would suit Britaini more than me, because I do not lie down EVER to read. She will lay on her futon and read for hours, I don't know how she does it. I am sitting, and very aware. If I recline I fall asleep .
