To the driver I was behind on 120 this morning coming up to the 92 intersection headed towards Marietta. AWESOME reflexes avoiding the high school age kid who pulled out in front of you/us (we were behind you) from the subdivison on the far side of the road. Thank god there was nobody in the right lane so we could lock up the brakes and swerve or all involved would have been killed or seriously injured. A 1 foot miss, can't get much closer than that. When they are old enough to work they can bag groceries for pay. If they need something it is bought for them. They will not get paid to live in this house, clean their rooms, or put away their dirty dishes in the dishwasher thank you. I would be ashamed for them to accept money from a family member. I would NEVER expect or I would refuse any kind of payment for doing work around the house for my grandmother. Wish she was here today. I would bend over backwards and then some for that woman. I guess I don't expect pay from family for things like that, just like I'll be damned to pay my kids allowance money.

Growing up I was always amazed at watching the pit crews in IndyCar and NASCAR. In 2003 I moved from my hometown of Lafayette, IN and moved to Mooresville, NC to pursue my dream. In 2004, I got on a USAR Hooters Pro Cup team as a front tire carrier. Old thread I know. We got hit last week and just got a call from wifes co-worker saying she got hit. Both parties had charges ran up in NY. Have heard from owner of our frequent gas station that he has had over 25 in the area get hit in the last week and 2 girl at our dentist office got hit BIG. Bank informed us to file a report, but was told by PCS that they would investigate nothing. REALLY???? Thats where I get lost on this. My Bro Inlaw is LE elsewhere where it is ILLEGAL to talk on a cell phone while driving. However, the police can do NOTHING b/c it requires a certain type of warrant to cite anyone they see on one. Same goes for a wreck involving a cell phone. The person at fault cannot and will not be charged for talking on cell phone even though it is illegal. This does not make sense to me if it is illegal.
