I understand that not everyone has a car to get around in, but if you live close to a school and busses do not pick kids up there--it is the parents responsibility to make sure their kids get to school safely. There is no way that I would ever allow my kids to walk down the side of a busy road. Things are not like they were when I was growing up, where you saw a car here and there. Now we have crowded roads full of people in a big hurry all of the time. We could only find a converter box at walgreens back when we 1st moved, and had to wait on comcast to come out. We never could get it to work, so I am not sure if we needed something else hooked up or not. They made it sound so easy on the commercials. Yeah right. Comcast even has it now that you are forced to get another box if you use to just run the cable straight into your TV. Now if you do not have a box, you can only pick up local channels on it and nothing else. There are 2 older homeless gentlemen who stand somewhere along Thornton Rd. on most days. Normally they are either at the red lights coming off of I-20 or at the red light where you turn to go into walmart. Many days I have helped them. I always look for them when I am out and about. The only problem is a lot of times if there is an ID on a person(which I know the paper said this person didn't have one on them) the police will give that name out where anyone with a scanner can hear them. The apartment my daughter lived in was pretty nice. The outside looked really nice, like a little community. I really liked that she lived in a walk up level apartment last yr. Her freshman year it was on the 3rd or 4th floor. I can't remember which one.

Oh no, they have a lot of dorms and apartments on campus. My Daughter lived on campus in an apartment up until this year, and is now renting an off campus apartment. She was just saying on facebook that from what she is reading every student will have to start paying extra fees next semester for the football stadium that they intend to build. 2 males that I grew up with comitted suicide in their 20's. I have no clue what was going on in their personal lives at the time, but I had just seen 1 of the 2 a week prior. His Dad started a support group for parents that have lost a child to suicide.

The only issue I have are those who marry young girls(under 16). Also I did watch Oprah once a few years back and she had some women who had escaped a polygamist compound. One was put into an arranged marriage when she was very young and forced to have sex with her 40 something year old husband. If you believe it is something you need anti depressants over, go to a psychologist. I would not go to a psychiatrist as they really only sit there, listen and turn around and give you meds. A psychologist will talk to you plus give you meds if they feel that you need them. I know in Douglasville across from the hospital on Prestley Mill rd., there is the Psychology center.

I have a migraine today as well. I think it's a combo of the high pressure and the fall pollen. Atleast for me, I think that is the culprit. I can not for the life of me remember the name of the med, but it's a nose spray for migraines. You see immediate relief when using it. It will make you loopey as all get out, but it for me was a wonder drug. It has been a few years since I took it, and now the Dr. put me on maxalt. I liked that nose spray better.

1st things 1st, they need a stadium. I know Vince Dooley went to KSU last yr, and I believe he is helping get the football program started. I can't remember all of the details, but my Daughter is in her 3rd year at KSU. I personally love the allears.net web site. I have used it many times,because it has every single restaurant listed on there with pictures and menus. Probably drugs or gang related. Atleast the woman and child are ok. That's good,because it's usually the innocent ones hit in the cross fire in so many cases. My brother use to work Zone 1 in Atlanta, and I have heard some stories that are whoppers I tell ya. He was chasing a man on foot one night,and tripped over a dead body in the woods while in a foot pursuit. He had to stop chasing the one guy to call for backup and to get the homicide unit out there.

That's why we must ask for ID from everyone, no matter their age to keep a place from getting busted. Those over 21 have served to minors before, and have had their alcohol licenses suspended over it. It is legal to serve at 18, so if a restaurant has an 18 yr old serving-as long as they have a permit they are good to go.
