If any of my sons friends know anything or have heard anything, I will get on here and PM you. They are all in school so I am hoping that by 4pm or so they will see the posts to their FB walls. My son may even know him. He's not on his friend list, but that doesn't mean anything.

I am going next weekend for the parade. I have not gone in years, and can't wait. I am ready for some warm cider and some homemade fried pies. I will end up taking in a lot of calories up there. lol I wanted to get a hotel room, but even 2 months ago when I tried they were already booked up.

I have got a chain going on FB right now, since my son knows a lot of people who go up to the 7 venue and plus my son goes up to Arbor Place a lot. I have already found a few people who know him, one being my sons best friend. Lets hope that someone knows where he is at. I may HATE the music my son listens to, but right now it is going to come in very handy. I have a feeling they all hang around the same people somewhere along the line. I won't stop until you guys hear something, ok.

Listen. My son's best friend AJ is on Brandons Friend list on FB, so I just sent AJ a private message on there. I told him to ask around and see if anyone knows where he is at, and to PLEASE have him call his parents atleast because they are worried sick.

Is he home yet? My son plays in a band, and frequents the 7 venue. I know someone else who has a band as well. A friend of mines son. Let me ask my son in a little while, and send my friends son a message on FB to see if they know him. My son actually worked at the 7 venue, and knows a lot of the teens that hang out up there a lot.

Question about ad on TV about more Trauma Hospitals
mspris72 replied to Mrs. Jack Russell's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I just do not understand how the commercials can say people die in Ga, due to us not having enough level 1 trauma centers, and that people here die due to that. If I am not mistaken there are some states who do not have any, or only have 1 for the entire state. Ga has 3 that I know of right off hand. People in N Ga are taken to Chattanooga normally, so I won't count that one since it is in TN. -
Question about ad on TV about more Trauma Hospitals
mspris72 replied to Mrs. Jack Russell's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I do not like the way that sounds either, because it is not specific enough. Atlanta has 2 level 1 trauma centers that I know of. Grady and Atlanta medical(formerly Ga Baptist). Chattanooga has one, Savannah has one. Do they have one in Macon or in South Ga anywhere? -
Question about ad on TV about more Trauma Hospitals
mspris72 replied to Mrs. Jack Russell's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I am a little confused, so I will end up reading more on this issue. Wouldn't the private orgs. that own the Hospitals be the ones to build them? Lets say Wellstar wants to put a hospital in Hiram, wouldn't wellstar be the one footing the bill for the construction of it? I'll look more into it, but this was just something that I am curious about. I wouldn't think tax payer money would build the hospitals, but that the organizations who own them would? I know the tax payers pay for the uninsured who clog up our ER's, but not about the rest. -
We met Feb 1997, dated only a few months, moved in together, got married May 1999. My 1st marriage lasted 3 yrs. We rushed things before we really got to know each other. This is why I wanted to live with my husband before I said "I do". I wanted to make sure I could tolerate him and vice versa. 2 yrs and 3 months after we met, we got married. Together now almost 14 yrs. and married for 11 1/2.

Exactly!! Look at Villa Rica just this week. 2 robberies within a block of each other, with one man on the loose. Numerous home and car break ins everywhere, Kids beating helpless old men with rocks, high speed chases and so on. The entire West and North West side of Atlanta has increasingly seen more and more crime. We do not have those same small towns where everyone knows each other, and looks out for one another. This monsterous growth has brought in so,so many more people. We also have those coming into our areas from Fulton, Dekalb and Clayton co's, because they all feel as if they can g

Ohhhhhhhhh I HATE snakes. I went into my garage one morning back during the summer, and there was a snake I'd say 5 feet long slithering right in the middle of the garage. I literally had a panic attack. The one in my garage was black. I now look out my curtains before I go outside. lol

I can see this being a factor, because many kids of single Moms are latch key kids. I am very thankful for having 3 great kids, 2 of which are now in college. The worst problem I have had with any of them is smarting off to me, and that to me is pretty typical of teens who do not get their way all of the time.

Love your avatar of Antoine. : ) That entire area of Marietta over into Smyrna is just down right bad. Crescent Sqare apartments have had a very bad rap for years due to the crime, drugs and prostitutes that frequent the complex. I am not sure it's so much about being raised in an apt. complex as compared to the kind of apartment complex you are raised in. They are cheap apartments for Cobb co. That elderly man had been living there for years, and they all said that they loved him in there. They called him Pops.

They could have left after taking the mans wallet, but they didn't. That is what makes me so mad. The elderly mans friend was on the news saying that his walker was facing towards the kitchen as if he had his back turned to the 3 little heatherns when they knocked him upside his head with a large rock.

I am on IE, and I am seeing the same exact thing. Ads on the left hand side?
-
Yes they do, but we'd be lying if we said that the majority are not of one particular color.

Because unfortunately you can't bring up the crime subject without doing so. It is what it is, like it or not.

Please trust me when I say that you do not want a mall in Paulding co. Unless Paulding co. widens several roads ahead of time, it will be a traffic nightmare(especially tax free weekend, and Christmas season). With a mall comes a lot more crime. I never wanted Arbor place here to begin with, and I now know why. Our crime in Douglasville is now well above the national avg., when not so long ago we were below the national average. Comparing a splost in Douglas co. to one there really isn't comparing apples to oranges. If you own a home in Paulding, you will see a large increase in your property

Yanno as much as I hate to bring up race, there's just no way around it. Almost every time you watch the news(mainly crime issues in Atlanta) there is always a family member on the news defending their law breaking relative. They always say they are such good people. Look good people for one do not commit crimes to begin with, and a good person would have taken off running and told someone to call the cops. He is a product of his upbringing. He will be a prisoner in our state prison system one day. She needs to be charged as well. He was left alone during the night to watch an infant. Even if

I had directv in my old house. It only went out twice, both times during tornado warned storms. It could be cloudy and raining, and it always worked fine. I paid right at $100 a month and got every movie channel offered.I had a HD DVR and 4 additional boxes. I did not get any sports packages. Comcast however keeps going up on my bill almost every month. We have gone from $160 a month to $300 a month in 11 months. We have not added anything nor do we get any PPV. It's Highway robbery, but I am forced to deal with them until we move. Too many trees here that block the satellite signal. Directv al

Here is a break down of what the SPLOST monies are going for in Douglas co. Has Paulding co. posted info like this that breaks everything down? I will say that they are already doing or have done several things in the splost in regards to road improvements/new intersections. http://www.celebratedouglascounty.com/view/programs/view_prog/&cdept=273&department=Douglas%20County%20Prospective%20SPLOST%20Projects

When we move I am dropping comcast like a bad habit. They hire the most ignorant broken English speaking people. Then they want to argue with you, due to their screw up. Not once did they apologize to me for them making a mistake with my address. They sure did get the mailing address part right, but they put the wrong service address down. I was sitting next to my husband when he initially placed the order, so I know for a fact the goof up was on their end. Finally 6 months after the fact The cable was buried, like they should have done Nov 2009. May 2010 they finally buried it. I am still hav

why do people do this to themselves ...my eyes/ears
mspris72 replied to Sadie612's topic in RECENT TOPICS
lol I saw both of those videos on facebook last week. Lawd have mercy is all I could say to it. That is one brave woman to do that. That's all I have to say about that. -
The only problem is this........If the splost does not pass they are going to pass it onto the homeowners of the county via higher property taxes. They will do what they want no matter if you vote for the splost or not. Here in Douglas co. it is being used for the new jail complex and road work. The county here flat out said if the splost did not pass, the local homeowners would be footing the bill because they were going to build the jail with or without the passing of the splost. Thing is with a splost anyone who shops in Paulding co. would be paying into it. If I came out to Hiram to eat a

Can someone hook me up with the restaurant score
mspris72 replied to blessed mess's topic in RECENT TOPICS
PC.COM should post them on here somewhere. Douglas co. has a blog site that would post them on it. My jaw dropped at some of the scores. I'd like to point out that the places with the lowest scores in the county were not American owned. Mexican restaurants, Japanese steakhouses and Chinese restaurants all scored lower. Some scored in the 60's even. It was very eye opening to say the least.
