  1. and I hope you got Andouille to put IN it.
  2. my mouth just watered at the thought of a big bowl of red beans and rice..... And they stand alone. Bowl, rice, red beans. My sister adds vinegar to top it off, but I don't. A lot of folks in New Orleans add it.
  3. Damn. All I ever get is a bigger penis. Some people have all the luck
  4. Is there a sign there? I've seen the tent every time I've gone to Publix and never knew what it was!
  5. My baby was waiting up to see Justin Beaver but he'll probably be way later.....so she's going to bed very disappointed.
  6. Wow, after you admitted to 'brat' like behaviors? Hissy fits, anger, and belitting behaviors will definately get you no where when you have an issue you want fixed. Any situation that escalates to the point of him wanting to call the cops tells me you weren't any better behaved than he was. And I bet he didn't even look up your facebook when he got home. Sounds to me like neither one of you were on your best behaviors. Krama being what it is, I hope she doesn't bitch-slap you because of this.
  7. http://www.peachtreecc.org/ I LOVE this church! Contemporary, casual, band, growth groups.....IN Villa Rica. I've been going there over a year after jumping around trying to find the right "fit". PM me if you have any questions or if you want to go with me They have 9:30 and 11 services.
  8. MY point, since it was missed, was that sometimes quality time with family (by picking the kids up, etc) is worth much more than never seeing the kids because you're working all the time. At least, this has been my experience. The rest was a jab at the multiple threads where I've read, "it's so hard being a SAHM...I have to cook, clean, take care of the kids, blah blah blah".....and those comments piss me off because SOME make it seem like it you aren't a SAHM,homeschool, etc then you're a bad parent. Obviously you guys didn't follow my pattern of reading and get into my head when I po
  9. Crap. I saw something similar on Private Practice. I don't even want to imagine what that is like....carrying a baby you can't keep.
  10. I just turned it on after watching Tuesday's NCIS. What's happening?
  11. I have learned over that last many years that a man BEING there for/with his family is worth so much more than sending a check every month. Of course, there are limits. And to the "we don't sit on our butts all day long" people, I cook, clean, run the family errands, go to the bank and post office before they close, raise my child, take classes, AND work a full time job. I'm unimpressed.
  12. hmmm....11 years ago *I* was in the program with Col Booth and SGM. I MUST know you.
  13. If memory serves me correctly, people got PISSED about not knowing what to expect last go around. Now they're telling you what could happen and you're still pissed? If I worked someplace other than the school system, I need to make a plan. I didn't know it was supposed to snow until pcom told me so. Truthfully. For those without pcom or who are late workers may not have known to make plans otherwise. We don't all sit on pcom waiting for weather reports or watch the local news frequently.
  14. I brought some work home....just in case
  15. I have enjoyed my Sony CyberShot as a *pocket* camera.
  16. When I used to fly to Seattle twice a month, I preferred America West. I always had a choice of scheduling my lay over in Las Vegas.....and the LV airport is rocking if you have to be *stuck* somewhere waiting for the next leg of a trip!
  17. My sister is having people over at her new house. I made my dips to bring. Gotta pick up the kiddo in a bit and then head over there. She has this one friend that creeps me out that's going to be there. I already told him that he's not my type (living at home, unemployed, uneducated, etc) but he doesn't seem to get that I'm not interested........other than that, it's going to be fun!!
  18. I hope my DVR knows that it's coming on and records it! Otherwise, I'll have to watch it online later in the week.
  19. In which case, a doctor and mother would have to weight the risks of preterm birth with the side effects of the medication... I would think.
  20. My daughter is in the toddler class there and she LOVES it. They are AWESOME with the kids. The upstairs area is set up just for the toddler classes so you don't have to worry about big kids. Pros: Trained staff, clean areas, safe play area, parent viewing rooms, not dependent on weather, make-up classes available if you have to miss. Cons: $60/month, the family viewing area upstairs can get crowded. We've been there since August and my daughter really looks forward to going every week!
