Avondale Estates is a nice area, I have several friends who live there.....but once you leave AE.... I went to Columbia High School before moving to PC. I remember everyone hanging out at Avondale Mall. It was torn down because it went downhill FAST and became a hotbed of drug and gang activity.

The only thing I don't like about the mall in D'ville (other than the traffic getting there) is the lack of variety in the stores. They have a lot of big department stores, but the smaller stores are all the same.....and that makes me sad. And I grew up in da hood. Arbor Place ain't got nothing on Avondale Mall.

Pinnacle had the opportunity to completely take advantage of my lack of knowledge and my lack of air conditioning. If they would have charged me $1000, I would have paid it because I wouldn't have known any better. Instead, they fixed the easy switch problem and recharged my system (so I wouldn't have to pay service fees again when I ran out next year)....and charged me less than $300 for it. I found this company to be honest, reliable, knowledgable, and quick. The will be my only HVAC people from now on.....which says a lot. And there's that.... Also, I picked Pinna

The one in Temple has a major fundraiser each year in Villa Rica....it's some sort of festival. I want to say that I heard that several of the area churches supported it as a mission project. i'm not sure of the details, because I haven't needed the services (thank God), but it's comforting to know that the resources are available if I ever needed them.

I have Direct and I like it. I used to have Dish. As far as costs, it would depend on your package. There is a wide gap in prices between the packages. On that note, my Direct contract is up as of 3 months ago and I'm weighing the options of upgrading my tv (which I'm planning on doing anyway) and getting one i can connect to the internet. Everytthing I want to watch is available online and I can get movies through Netflix.
