State of Alabama Wears the Crown as College Football King
workingforaliving replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Okay, so team of the decade, team of the year, whatever.....but KING? And you may not have written it, but you repeated it, which means that you agreed with what the author says....however, I disagree with the author. -

Exactly....but no other state is claiming to be "KING" of college football in this thread.....? -

The per-capita arguement would hold up if the players were actually FROM Alabama.....otherwise it's propoganda. -

I cleaned out my daughters room.....but only because she's going to be 4 at the end of the month and she's going to start sleeping in her big-girl bed. She helped me so I think the transition from Mommy's bed to her own bed *might* be easier. -
The article says that this hasn't been confirmed by the state, but Cobb and Gwinett are reporting it. I think everyone does it on the same day, right?

Do you have a link? Also, that turn around time is impressive......but don't get used to it Unless our new state super is as awesome as he promised to be.

Private school, I believe.

10 day impromtu vacation and no one is sick or hurt or dead..... I'll take it! :knockonwood:

I went to southeast Asia and left my 2 year old for 10 days. I had to go.....for my sanity.....seriously. I didn't call her because of her age----out of sight, out of mind----but if I went now, I definately would Skype her every few days. I also stayed in touch with my mom and got updates via Facebook since phones weren't very reliable and my mom's computer lives in 1999. I don't regret it at all, but I don't think I would stay away much longer than 2 weeks. Is it a possiblity to fly him out to London at any point during your trip? It would make things easier all around. A

If it's not for you, you may run into privacy issues by calling around and giving out your friend's information.....and if your friend did or did not decide to go, then you wouldn't be able to follow up.

I used to go to him when I was younger...I switched when I got old enough to know better.

For real. I was hoping the OP would ask if it was too late to take it....being snowed in and all she couldn't get to the pharmacy! Where's the drama!??

I get rude about that real quick. I'm generally pretty easy going when people do stupid things, but I had a cashier put ANT POISON in the same bag as my kid's candy (that she got for being so good at the store)....I should be ashamed of myself for behaving inappropriately in front of my kid, but sometimes you just can't be polite. ANT POISON WITH KID'S CANDY?!??? REALLY? -
Ok, this isn't a thread about emergency contraception.....I'll be moving along....

TJ Maxx has the BIGGEST reusable bags I've ever seen.....and they're different every time I go there, very stylish designs....and I'm thinking they were only 99cents!!

I risked my life to take the kiddo to Jump 4 Joeys yesterday so she could burn some energy. We may have to go back today if she doesn't chill. How hard is it to just be chill? -
hmmmm.....My kid is at the Sunshine House and we don't pay for food and we aren't on any "assistance" programs. I wonder if it's only the pre-K? She won't be in that class until next year. Maybe the food price didn't jump out at me because it was cheaper than what I pay now for full time day care
-
I've found that this is fairly common in pre-k programs.

I put my stuff on the belt the way I want it bagged.....and even then it doesn't get placed right. WALMART is the worst, Publix is the best. -

I would guess that the opportunity to practice with reusable bags doesn't exist. I have a ton of reusable bags...I just never remember to bring them to the store. :useless: I don't know that much of Paulding is that "green" -
