  1. Paulding Campus, Chattahoochee Technical College, June 11-12 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  2. He'll get picked up and will be fine.
  3. Idol is on...that trumps all the coolness of MythBusters.... Though I find I'm constantly making references at work and saying things like "On mythbusters they..."
  4. Ok, so I've been wrong so far.
  5. Casey is the weaker of the 4 IMO, but has popularity points. I forsee Crystal and Lee in the top 2....especailly after last night.
  6. It sucked. Kiss from a Rose. Are they singing 2?
  7. hmm.... 3827 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway Hiram, Georgia 30141 770-222-8900 I don't know how late they're open. The last time I went to one at night it was open until 9 or 10pm. There's also one in D'ville and Villa Hicka that may be closer----depending on where you live.
  8. urgent care places may be cheaper than the ER then.
  9. Does your insurance company have a "nurse hotline" ?
  10. I'll share the responsibility....I washed my car this weekend.
  11. Finding a chiropractor has been on my list of things to do....I'll call tomorrow!
  12. I go out of my way to make my current first year admin look incompetent....with my luck I'll end up as her co-teacher if she goes back to the classroom.
  13. I vote we thin the professional learning budget for a few years! Wonder how much early release days cost?
  14. stay away from huddles of women....they tend to escalate situations. I trust that I won't starve. I may be really freakin' uncomfortable, but I won't starve....faith bein' what it is n' all.
  15. I know what you're saying. I have 2 different paras rotating through my room throughout the day and they're both pretty useless.....however, there's a FINE line when it comes to ESEP paras....it'll take some savvy scheduling. Also consider, a para increases class sizes and is WAY cheaper than a full-time teacher.
  16. Upside to no nurse: my students won't have anywhere to hang out and will be forced to go to class. See, there IS a positive impact on learning mixed in all of those cuts
  17. You've sent us 2 over the years....I would be more than happy to give both of them back to you, even the one that isn't with me anymore. I'd slit my wrists.
  18. I can't wait to work with one of them Forced back into the classroom (rather than choosing to go back like some do) at a lowly teacher salary will make awesome class change conversation. See, you're trying to apply logic where logic has no place. Educational tenure doesn't work like that.
  19. I hear pineapple juice helps with the flavor.
  20. I still call my dad "daddy" when I visit him.....if we're out, I think I just call him "Dad".....but I never really pay attention. I call my mom "Mom" or "Mother"....depending on how much I like her that day (kidding. I like my mom every day...except the days when she tries to tell me a better way to raise my kid)
  21. To me, these sound like business opportunites. If there is such a need for the things on this list a savvy entrepreneure could turn out his (or her) own dime to make it happen. Archery range? Seriously? Sporting clays? WTF?
  22. I saw that. I'm glad for him. Add: I can't quit my Saints to follow Tebow.
  23. most of these posters graduated before I was born!!! PCHS C/O 2000 The first group of students I ever taught graduated from HS last year and are "legal".....holy cow!
