Unfortunately, students who move a lot don't often bring complete files along with them. If a student shows up with no file, we have the get the basics (immunization, proof of residence, etc) and start over. Deciding on your own to take on something like this takes a lot of emotional committment. It takes a lot of courage to get the ball rolling on abusive situations and it puts a lot of people in even more dangerous situations than they may already be in. I've already stated in other posts in this thread that I wasn't a fan of the cussing. I spank my child. My family and FRIENDS most certainly could do the same if they were watching her and she behaved in a matter that deserved a spanking. The parent's WEREN'T "sitting right there"....the mother stated that she was in a BOAT. And given my profession (which has nothing to do with this thread) I wish more parents would spank their kids or that SOMEONE would spank some of these kids. Spare the rod n' all.

But she did refer to this as an outting with "friends". If he is, infact as stranger, then call DFACS on HER for leaving her 5 year old child alone with a stranger. Shame on HER for putting her child into a potentially dangerous situation. Either way, the kid got what he deserved for misbehaving.

She was actually in a boat while her 5 year old child played on a dock with someone you refered to as a "stranger".

Someone you choose to go on vacation with is hardly a stranger.

I would hope that my friends would discipline my child if I left her alone with them. The cussing? Not so much. I cringe at the verbal lashings children take these days. Sorry, spent a lot of time today dealing with crap that teens caused because they don't have the ability to see past the "funny" to the "reality". Dumbass decisions cost me a lot of time at the end of every flippin' school year. I'll be less bitter tomorrow.

Senior pranks are funny, but it takes a lot of man-hours to clean them up. The students/parents SHOULD have to pay the wages of those that clean it since it takes them away from their already assigned duties....the county shouldn't have to pay that tab.

Lee has been groomed to win from the beginning. Better song choices, better places in the line up, better promo spots. I told my mom that weeks ago. Crystal won't like being the next AI....she would have to give up too much creative control. Lee is a better fit. It's all about marketability.
