Many schools didn't put theirs in the mail until today. We didn't have to turn in the stuffed envolopes until yesterday afternoon, which means they went out in today's mail.

I have nekid DSL with AT&T. It's amazing how much more I started liking that company when I ditched them for home phone services. I've had it like this for almost 2 years and not one single problem. However, when I had a phone, there were almost monthly problems. It costs $19.95/mo. No other fees attached like with phone services. I have used my house phone to call 911 without having the service turned on. You can call the operatior and 911. I keep one connected for this reason (and to cover the ugly wall jack on the middle of the kitchen wall)

That's a loaded questions around here. Whatever you do, don't ask juliesmom. I think the school feed there is Panter, Dobbins, Hiram....unless things changed for next year. My parents have lived there for 15 years and as far as I know, has never had any problems.

I don't know if congratulations or condolances are in order.

I have to work the next 2 days and then I get almost 2 months off. I think we need to discuss what I'm going to do with all of my free time.

I found that it was easier just to replace my whole keyboard. The way mine popped off it took FOREVER to get ONE back on. I don't think the keyboard was very expensive and it was easy to put in.

I use Dove shampoo....the cheap shampoos feel like I'm using detergent to clean my hair. (And I've never thought about using a perm to tame my mane. I'll have to talk to my stylist about this next week)

Especially considering what I do for a living (someone has told me that before...how dare I)

I think the school will still be dealing with P.O.'d parents on Monday and Tuesday (since teachers will be there).... Then there's the report cards the parents won't receive because they didn't send in their $1 or SASE because they feel they pay enough in taxes.... OR the kid that failed a class and it's a total shock to the parent, even though the teacher has contacted them no less than half-a-dozen times this year about thier kid not doing work. Wait, wait, wait....I almost forgot textbook hold and the outragous costs of replacements because the dog ate the library book.

The end of a school year is always bitter-sweet. There are some kids that I'm glad will be moving on (if ya know what I mean), but there are others that I want to have again next year because they're so great. I told one of my girls today that I was going to make sure she failed so that I could teacher her again! (she knew I was joking. I would never fail a kid based on emotion.) My second round of kids are graduating this year...even though they are the first kids I'd ever taught (I had them in the 6th grade and then again in the 8th grade). I'm very proud of them all.

For all the complaining people do about teens, I've seen some extraordinary ones.

Yeah, cause I'm on that team and I need someone to step in when I break a nail.

It has been one HELL of a school year....and I bought a new bottle of booze this weekend that I won't have time to drink during the week

I use iTunes almost exclusively. I haven't shopped around, though. There may be another one that's easier.
