    Law says the census every 10 years is to count the number of people living in the US on April 1st of each 10th year....or something like that....which is the reason for the April 1st day.....but that doesn't mean I'm fillin' it out early probably less than that......I'm down with fidy.

    it says "How many people WERE living in your household as of April 1st?" Past tense, were, implies that I can't answer it until April 2nd. Postcards be damned.

    My 3 year old daughter wants to marry her 8 year old cousin (her "boy") because I think she thinks that "married" is when a boy and a girl get to hang out every day and she thinks that would be awesome.

    I think the cheater should have to pay----the one in the marriage. I don't feel that the "mistress" person is responsible for making sure someone sticks to their marriage vows.

    I think Darwin, more so than our Founding Fathers, is rolling in his grave. I think that if we just leave things alone for a little while, everything will be okay.

    I feel more of a prisioner to my house than to the region. I can afford something a little bigger (room for the kiddo to run and play without being under my feet), but probably couldn't ditch my starter house for what I owe on it....at least not with all of the forclosures available.

    I spend a lot on my kid's birthday party too.....mostly because I can. However, in a bad financial year, I would probably not spend that much.

    I would expect any word on this until after the whole superintendent fiasco is over. The new super may or may not have an alternative plan. I would expect that larger churches in the community could take this on at an affordable rate---much like many provide VBS in the summer.

    My daughter is very young and I would LOVE to have an extra day with her every week As a teacher, my motives for wanting a 4-day week are selfish.

    Afternoon duty stations for many teachers involve walking/hearding students to the buses....maybe those teachers can be utilized?

    An alternative could be to keep the sports in the HS, but cut them in the MS. Some of them can't possibly be covering the costs associated with running the programs(girls softball, soccer) .....where as in HS, crowd turn out/ticket sales may be able to carry the team costs.

    no kidding! All the cheaper ones with harnesses seem to only go up to 40lbs. I guess safety is expensive!

    sizes for harnesses?! Crap...more to look for! thank you for your help! I feel better about being seatbelt paranoid now...I thought that I might have been over protective. Yup...and she says: "Mommy, when I was 2 I was a baby, now when I'm 3 I'm a big girl" too fast.

    As long as it's off the back end....AFTER CRCT. 2 less weeks to teach the curriculum before state tests (even with the joke of extra time in the day) would suck.
