I think I heard McClure on the news this morning.

It's not always as obvious as hindsight would lead you to believe. The child was only in the current school for a quarter. I'm sure each and every one of his teachers are torn up trying to figure out how they missed the signs.....and if bad grades were truly the catalyst as reported earlier in the thread, God help 'em because there's no getting past that.

BOE is doing school calendar survey for 2014-2015
workingforaliving replied to orrby's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I opted for the Sept break over the Feb break, one conference week over two, and a week for Thanksgiving. I couldn't care less about the date of the first and last day of school. This is a 3 year calendar, which will be interesting -

Am I the only person who wears socks that match?
workingforaliving replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was at a store in Downtown Disney and had a slight meltdown. 3 socks, none of which match. Bins where you could buy single socks.... -
A few questions re: passport to Bahamas

I hate Nassau....however the private island we visited was beautiful. I've been to Nassau 3x, but only once on a cruise. -
A few questions re: passport to Bahamas

The cruise line website will have more info. If the ship is leaving and returning to the same US port, only proof of citizenship is be essay......birth certificate and government issued photo ID. I used my passport, but my kiddo used her BC. -
Hand outs vs. hand ups. I'm not opposed to TEMPORARY assistance, but not assistance as a lifestyle choice.

Rep. John Lewis Arrested In DC Demonstration

It most definitely excuses him from having posters make fun of him for it. Of course, making fun of a disability is probably fair game in a political thread. -
The only bells I hear at school these days are the start and end bells. I know they ring all day long.

Back on topic.....I hate that they run the line single file in the morning. The line wraps around the parking lot. Double it up. There's plenty of room. And I don't understand why there is a random stop sign in the main drive.

I deal with bus discipline on. A regular basis. If I didn't school choice (bus isn't even a consideration), mine wouldn't ride one either.

This premium doesn't look too bad to me. What gives? -
RTI, when done correctly, is a beautiful thing. I may have to stop by!!

I got it via email and then signed for a paper copy.....Monday or Tuesday. It has been a long week nd the days blur together. I know ZERO unemployed people who have exhausted their search. I know MANY employed people who were able to find work within 6 weeks of a layoff. I know MANY people who took minimum wage jobs until other work came along. Anyone unemployed long term is unemployed by choice, not chance.. There is absolutely NOTHING I'm better than doing if I came down to feeding my family. I would be the most well educated burger flipper there ever was.. -
In the last month I lost a dear friend in a motorcycle accident where the car didn't see him. If he would have been on anything other than a bike, he would have survived it......with maybe some airbag bruising. Just the other week I saw a wiped out bike on my way to work. Driver appears okay, but it ruined my day......the images of crunched bikes haunt me. My brother quit riding in the last year and I am so thankful.

I have excellent employer coverage, so I won't be applying.....this price point is excellent. We rarely even come close to our out of pocket, iI would love lower premiums for higher out of pocket. I also think you're insanely selfish and clearly ignorant enough to fall for the propaganda surrounding the Obama partof the Affordable Healthfcare Act. I'll pick up your tab, no worries. -

I was watching it on my phone. I got that it was a dude, but I didn't understand why it was so funny. I am not a gymnast.
