What Does It Mean When Something Is "FISHY"?

I thought this topic had veered to twat. I'm disappointed. -
OB/GYN used forceps, in delivery room and Baby died
workingforaliving replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This sounds like an OB issue more than a forceps issue.....and I bet hospital investigators find the same. -
I've never written a thank you card. I don't get it....I said thank you to your face.

Every pregnancy is special. With that being said, it is MY choice to attend and to choose the gift. If I have recently bought you a wedding gift and baby gift, you're getting something practical from me....like diapers and condoms.

If she's fishy, have her come back on a fresher day. -

That was awesome. And further proof at how inferior the Atlanta store is to the others. -

To those that say AG is "just a doll" I heart Karen! -

Sometimes it's okay just to STFU. Mattel is a company. They make all kinds of toys and dolls. They are publiclly traded. -
I prefer Phips to Lenox. It's more "real" people. Groupon occasional has them on sale as well.

I only go because of Bed, Bath, and Beyond....and Ulta now that it opened. Otherwise the stores have cheap, low quality clothing at high mall prices.

You aren't going to find much on the south side that fits what you're looking for. If you're committed to driving, you'll have plenty of options. I hate Arbor Place.

I can't wait until you buy one for Addie. My advice? Wear out the Atlanta store before seeing the others. Ours sucks comparatively. It's all about priorities. We're not skipping any bills to pay for these dolls. I'd be curious in how the AG maintenance compares to gaming systems. $600 +games, controllers, etc?. We all have our thing. AG is ours. Ha! I was typing my post when you posted! -

Woah....woah.....woah. Stop right there. Did you just make an extremely inappropriate generalization? I spa, get nails, get my hair did, etc BECAUSE I have an education which afforded me career options so that I can do these things....on a whim if a girlfriend calls or if I need it. These are no mutually exclusive events. -

Or, they're learning to take care of something of value. They're nurturing and caring for their dolls. My kiddo bonds with her dolls for life.....just ask the $50+ CPK we got at Babyland 3 years ago. There are always two sides to every coin. I tend to avoid the side that screams "worst case" and balance the scales with the values that *I* teach her. I don't see this as a "craze" or as you see it....and I'm glad. Some of my best childhood memories come from between the pages of American Girl books. I don't. I loathe SUVs,....all of them. I was just making a comparison -

I can tell the difference, because we have both. The quality is FAR inferior. Kind of in the same way an Tahoe is a Range Rover,.....they serve the same purpose....I guess. Pretty much what I told a buddy who spends a FORTUNE on his kid's ball gear. I think I get off on the cheaper end -

Santa brought an AG doll this year. But in his defense, she REALLY wanted one and saved the whole year for it. Santa made her go through the trouble and stress of EARNING before getting it. Of course, last January when I went to the AG store in NYC, we were hooked, but we weren't making impromptu doll purchases. With that being said, her birthday is in a faw weeks. Just wait until you see what I have planned for a "Mo,my & Me" weekend getaway. It'll prompt a new thread. ($8 clearance outfit from AG, 1/2 price matching swimsuits, etc......bump full price!) -
See......this is why I had adult supervision last night. I was barely fit to street walk.....just ask the APD that rolled by.

This is the first year I've paid for everything in cash. It feels good.

I like it. It doesn't bother me that others don't. I'm wondering the age range of the folks posting and if that influences their opinion on the subject.

Ooooooohhhhh.......the drummers drumming are really going to piss her off.
