  7. 4. With all due respect Really? I used this one on occasion in the Marine Corps when talking to superiors who identified themselves as dolts or nitwits. Out of respect for the rank (not necessarily the person) we would occasionally preface an "I'm smarter than you on this one!" statement with " With all due respect Sir..." As long as it wasn't abusive, disrespectful or overused. Example: "With all due respect Sir, I know my job so let me do it." Translation: Don't go away mad, just go the the hell away.
  8. I'm with ya. We've never missed a mortgage payment or even been late but if a judge wants to reward someone for being prompt with payment I'll stand in that line.
