  1. My wife fixed Mexican Chef Salad and refried beans. Homemade apple pie later.
  2. I boil 3 family size bags for about 10-15 minutes, let it sit for about 30 minutes to an hour then stir in 1 - 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Stir in water/ice.
  3. Steak on the grill, baked potato, salad and french apple pie!
  4. Amen to that! I try to always leave cash for a tip and try to hand it to my server personally. This way they can claim as little or all of it...whatever they want. Handing it to them eliminates a busboy or random passerby from slippining off with it.
  5. Not positive, but I think it was Subby who I seen had some out in front of his place.
  6. Not all like me, but most are learning to repect me. Like may or may not always come. I can live with that.
  7. I think you're right about the colleagues. I wish they would do another surprise dress code walk-through.
  8. I also tell them until they establish themselves then they are no more than a tool to that boss. A tool is used to make money. If it doesn't you get rid of it and get a better one. It's kind of harsh, but so is reality. I want them to become happily employed, make lots of money, pay lots of taxes and help me retire.
  9. Well, well, what a small world. And your subject???
  10. Not a problem. I teach at McEachern. I'm not the cool teacher though. LOL. I believe I'm there for more than just an overgrown daycare. Responsibility and accountability goes a long way with me as I'm trying to prepare them as best I can for the grown up world. I tell them that employers are not going to be impressed by their baggy, butt-showing pants. As you can imagine that goes over real well.
  11. I see both in the classroom. In my construction class I don't let them stay. I send them to an Administrator or write a discipline referral on them for dress code. Can't work safely if you can't keep your britches up. I will gladly fashion them a belt or suspenders out of rope or electrical wire though. Now the skin tight. It's hard for others to work when they're laughing so hard. Some are so bad you can almost tell what religion they are.
  12. Not one of Ladies, but might I add that Chinet makes several different sets of fine dinnerware. No chipping, breaking or washing. Platters, plates, open or compartmented. May be available in a few fashionable patterns.
  13. Nice little conversation piece to have on your coffee table... "Me and Paw were out weedin' the garden when outta nowhere..."
  14. Jack Reacher and Lumak are pretty interesting characters as well.
  15. Miss Sadie, I know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody else who knows my wife who sells Pampered Chef. What kin I hook ya up with?!?!? Garlic press, stoneware...lemme know
  16. Probably get chastised for this...but I just let it run it's course for a day or so and haven't had any problems since. Works great...no complaints here.
  17. I just use the back button on my browser. I'm just simple-minded like that.
  18. Yeah this new and improved thing always gets me. This horseless carriage thing will nevercatch on either. I'm sticking with my horse and buggy.
  19. What are your parameters? Are you restricted to after school and weekends? Are you on a 1/2 day schedule? What is your area of study in school? Possible major in college? Are limiting yourself to animals, public safety and/or the environment? Anything you refuse to do? I know, I know...so many questions. LOL Hats off to wanting to do community service though. It is commendable
