  1. A very dear friend of mine is at Vanderbilt trauma center. Her son was in a terrible car accident Friday night. He is in VERY critical condition. I have no information other than he hit a pole and was wearing his seatbelt. He has severe head trauma. His brain has continued to swell and the doctor's have been forced to remove about 1/3 of his skull to allow for the swelling. He is not responsive and is unable to breath on his own. However, he is NOT brain dead and that is the hope that she is holding onto. In the picture that I am posting you can see Josh and his baby girl Mary. My

  4. Here is my answer to all clothing in question no matter what the age of the wearer. Make ure yo look at yourself from behind and BEND OVER when you do. A lot of times I see women who look pretty good fom the front but when you see them walking away they have that saggy back of the leg stuff going on. Not cool. That is where longer shorts or capris can hide what should stay hidden. Short shorts and mini skirts require thin well toned legs. If you don't own a set of thin well toned legs you should opt for something a little less revealing. And for Pete's sake please ladies if you are go
  5. It may appear that some of us have no life when we are really taking a break from our life to see what is happening in everyone else's for a while.
  6. Unless they are going to pay for the security of the jurors I think Florida needs to keep their names private.
  7. Anyone else would walk so I believe she should and will walk. She will NEVER be free again though. She has a life sentence, it may not be the one that we thought it was going to be but she will never be free what she has said and done. She will ALWAYS have to be watching her back. I would be very scared to leave that jail if I were her.
  8. Well- that is what Casey said. For whatever that is worth. The fact that she would never tell anyone the father's name makes me wonder about that though.
  9. Maybe I do not understand the nuances of defense. I have certainly never been in that position. There were many things that I thought were odd for a defense attorney to do, like call his client a liar and a slut. Having said that, whatever they did worked. I think that the ONE thing that I can remember that he did right is in his closing arguments he talked about doubt. He kept saying you can't have ANY doubt and find her guilty. I think the jury took that to heart. There is doubt and there is reasonable doubt. In my opinion you can make up a doubt about ANYTHING but it may not be reas
  10. Wow wee...you went to alot of trouble for that post, didn't ya? Obviously you did not watch any of the trial. If you had you would know why all of those comments were made. I believe she is going free despite her defense team not because of it.
  11. Here is what I think about that. 1. Prosecution had LOADS of evidence, even though it was circumstantial there was LOTS of it. 2. George was not on trial but Casey's defense team made him the focus. 3. I believe the family is dysfunctional because they have a lying psychopath for a daughter. I think in trying to protect her they all came out looking a little nuts. 4. He didn't have to call the cops because Cindy called them and said "We found my daughters car today, and it smells like a damn dead body was in the car!" I think they were not clear on what reasonable d
  12. The facts are: A little girl is dead and her remains were thrown in a swampy area to rot. Her mother acknowledged knowing she was dead and did nothing but lie and party for 31 days. Should that not be a crime?

    And the

I have never seen anyone react to things the way she does. I noticed that when the jury was out of the room she smiled a lot but as soon as they came back in she started her pouting and "crying". She really is a psychopath.
  14. I'm happy to see she still has some spunk! I am going to share the video with my FB friends that know her if that is okay.
  15. I like to watch Nancy Grace if for no other reason than to hear her tell it like it is. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes and from what I understand she was one hell of a prosecuting attorney. (never lost a case) I always wonder how she gets those lawyers and experts to come back on so often because she is sometimes just flat out mean to them, especially when they try to answer one of her questions with an off the wall answer. She will call them out everytime. She is also always fussing at her producers to put up the right pictures and her reporters to "just answer the q
  16. I agree, the prosecution did an excellent job of summing it all up. I really don't think the jury will come back with 1st degree murder charge. I think there was enough circumstancial evidence to convict her but the jury pool doesn't seem like the types to go that route, IMO. However, I think she will go to jail and for a long time. I don't expect the other inmates to be very pleasant to her either.

It wouldn't take me long to decide if I was on the jury, but it sounds like there is at least one juror who may have a hard time deciding.
  18. Craigslist.com has a couple of NEW with warranty Hot tubs. I am not sure what size you are looking for but these are the 6-8 person size with all the bells and whistles for about 1/4 of the retail price. There are also several barely used hottubs on Craigslist that are very low priced. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/app/2471382823.html

  20. Don't misunderstand me. I don't think that his smirk that he was covering with his hand was a tic at all. (Although it is possible) But I keep hearing the news folks talking about how he continues to grimace and make unusual facial expressions. I think that might be a bit of an unfair statement, because I have definitely seen him tic quite a bit through this trial. I even questioned myself and asked my son (who has tourettes) to watch it and tell me if he thought Ashton had some kind of tics. He agreed. Do I think it is tourettes? I can't really say because there is more than a few tic
  21. There has been so much talk about how messed up the Anthony family is but I am really not buying into that. I think that they WERE a typical family until Casey had Caylee. Then I think the arguments began about her not being a good mother, the jealousy began, the lies and partying got worse. I think then the parents probably did become a little crazy. I don't for a minute believe that there was any sexual abuse. I think that was another of Casey's lies. Unfortunately for her that one cost her the support of her family. As far as the way the grandparents have acted since this nightmare be
