  1. Are you allergic to cats? Sorry you are having these problems, I'm sure you will get some good input on what to take.
  2. You're like my wife, "just because you said to, I'm not gonna."
  3. I've heard that somewhere. He built the best and easiest to use fully automatic rifle in the world. If it wasn't invented by a Russian, there is a good chance it would be standard issue for US troops. Like the old Timex watch, the AK47 takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
  4. Nope, 5 different places in 5 different cities.
  5. Thanks all. I am on the upswing and feeling 100% better. For those who have never had food poisoning I have some good news and some bad news for you if you ever have it. Those who have had it can confirm. Good News: You probably will not die Bad News: You probably will not die I say probably, because with food poisoning you are losing fluid from both the top end and the bottom end, often at the same time. This can lead to dehydration which can be deadly, so please keep that in mind and try and sip water or something like Gatorade mixed with water or whatever you can hold down.
  6. I would think the same people that should have paid for it all along. I'm no expert, but if the courts thought the BOC had plans to do more than they claimed to be doing, then I would think this is something we all would like to know. Not just those who are for it.
  7. Fixed it. Thanks for the heads up, I been sick ya know.
  8. Last time it was the Thai's, now it's the Chinese, specifically General Tso and his chicken. But, I am strong and I still live. At least I think I am alive. Rough times since 3am Sunday morning. Wife was wonderful. This makes the 5th time I have had food poisoning. (my nose has never worked real well and since a lot of your taste comes from smell, I think I eat stuff that other people would go "That taste like crap!" and not eat it, while I go, "not the best I've ever eaten" and finish the food)
  9. The good news is, crime is down. I know because the FBI said so.
  10. That is exactly what I was thinking about this one, the people who I want to question, I don't want to eat with, not even drinks and appetizers, just answer my questions and get the heck out, next victim in. But I understand the idea.
  11. Thanks Glassdogs. I love stuff like this thread. I don't think there has been anyone on anybody's list that I haven't said, "that's a cool choice". mrnn, read (if you haven't already) Carolyn Cassady's book Off the Road. Very interesting look at those guys from a different viewpoint.
  12. I thought about Adolf, but everything I have ever read about him said that once you got past his "mystic" (wrong spelling) he was a huge bore. You need to get Kerouac in the 50's before the booze got to him, but along that same line, how about Neal Cassidy?
  13. Heck, despite politics, I like everyone on pcom, with (like you said) a couple of exceptions. That's true. I really liked meeting mrnn and you all know how wacky his politics are. I won't let him meet the wife though, not only would they probably agree 100% politically, but he's a young good looking guy and if she ever met him, she might just dump me and start cougaring after him. (just kidding) (I know he could out run her)
  14. I am sooo sorry. The wife and I drove by last Saturday and saw your decorations, they were lovely. That sucks the big one. I call those people who do stuff like that scumbags. They may (and I hope they do) change later in life and not be scumbags, but when they do crap like that...scumbags.
  15. I really like your list. I bet if we stayed away from politics, we could have some great conversations based on your list. Lee Harvey killed JFK, 40 years of studying and it simply boils down to that. Best book on the assassination (IMHO), Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy by attorney Vincent Bugliosi. It is two volumes and does the best job of explaining the conspiracy theories and the evidence.
  16. I screwed up again a few minutes ago. Guess I will go and apologize. TP's ok, and he knows he's got a good thing at his house. (I've seen his posts about how much he loves his wife) My wife is 5'1", she has a step stool, but if needed I would get it for her. Nice looking couple.
  17. Back in 1993 at the Big Star on S. Cobb Dr and Concord Rd, I came out and a lady with two kids in car seats asked me for money so she could feed her kids a Happy Meal at Micky D's. I asked if she meant the Micky D's right down the road, she did. I told her I would meet her there and buy her and her kids whatever they wanted to eat. I was at that Micky D's a couple of weeks ago, she still hasn't showed.
  18. It involves coins, Magic 8 Balls, and a lot (I mean a lot) of hoping. (sometimes dice)
  19. My situation happened is the "old" days, I went to Radio Shack and bought a thing that hooked up to your phone and a tape recorder.
  20. Sounds like you make a good team. Is he a Smyrna boy? Yep, I screw up quite a lot, but luckily for me, she is a very forgiving woman. I wouldn't want her to know this, but probably 90% of the times when she is mad or upset with me, I screwed up. Ahhh, who am I kidding, she knows it.
  21. When are we getting these? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXHkOlDTYx4
