LR, I am so with you I was over this when they started talking about it last week. I hate snow. I spent Monday and Tuesday curled up in bed with the dog watching TV. I was lazy. I had no internet access - MrB worked from home (and still is) and he has to plug his computer directly up to internet, so our wifi was gone. I realized I have a serious problem. Anyway, I am back at work today! woo.hoo.

I am the same way, NJ. I have never been wrong.

No, it isn't, as he is mine as well. For a children's poet, he has a lot of grown up insight.

Awwwww! So cute!!!!!! I want one! Does she look like a fish out of water when she wags her tail? LOL We almost named Charlie Fisher b/c he wagged his body with his tail, lol. He looked like a fish out of water. -
We got the mail at the office, but I am in Marietta. He said the same thing - they are doing what they can.

Dang ... Paulding's roads look better than Peachtree St in Atlanta
MrsB replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was very suprised at the fact that Paulding's roads are better than Cobb's. My wat to work was great until I crossed the county line. Austell Road is awful, as is Powder Springs and some others. My boss said the same for north Cobb, as he came in a little later than me from Cherokee. -
I finally got out today and got to work. I did not take Macland, figuring it would be bad since it's pretty shady for the most part. 278 is fine with ice patces in some spots. Richard D. Sailors/Powder Springs Rd. is tough - the bridges were solid sheets of ice, with lots of ice patches. I think you'd be okay if you go slow and allow enough time. Throw it in 2nd when you get to the bridges. The worst part is the other a**Holes that are driving too fast or tailgating.

Charlie ran out and as soon as his paws sank to the ground he rab back. He looked like a bucking horse running and trying to keep his paws out ot it. I laughed so hard. He came back and peed on the patio and ran in as fast as he could. lol

Oh, that reminds me. You got volunteered to teach me to can. FYI for the spring. Oh. goody. I needed to know what kind to buy, and wanted the whole board to know all about it. That's all?

My neighbor has a 4wheel drive ram pickup. He has been trying to get up the hill out of my neighborhood for a half hour now. I think he works for a municipality, so he may have gotten called in. Not sure. Anyway, his truck is stuck. The gate closed behind him so now he can't slide back down; he'll hit the gate or someone else will try to leave and open the gate and hit his truck.

Anyone else expected to drive to work in the am?
MrsB replied to JulietAndKevin's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Probably, but I am not. I was going to be late anyway, b/c I had a dr. appt in the am. We will see... I doubt it. I am sure they will be closed. -
It happened fast, and it is coming down like crazy. Hubs said, "It's a blizzard!" lol Anyway, I say boooooo! to it.

I think the feds will becuase of Judge John Roll. He was the federal judge killed. I heard her father on Fox News a little bit ago being interviewed. I cried. My heart breaks for her parents. Her father just broke my heart.

I know you did not achieve hoard status. I have to go to Food Lion to get the hubs some Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

You're a brave, brave soul. haha. I had to stop ot Kroger today. I stopped at the one at Cedarcrest & 92. They were swamped, and the milk was gone except for a little bit of Mayfield. I HAD to have orange juice. The poot kid that checked me out was so flustered; he'd said they had been so busy all day and that the people stocking up were rude and mean. He thanked me for being nice! lol Poor chasiers. Y'all be nice to the people that ring your crazy, hoarding butts up!

Thanks for making me feel worse, lol. Veal is good, but it is made from baby cows that have been kept in little bity pens. But the meat is very, very tender. Surepip, I wish I'd seen your offer I hadn't had it in forever, and happened to see them in Publix on South Cobb the other day. I instantly wanted it. I hadn't had it since I went vegetarian years abd years ago. When I began eating meat again, I would still never eat veal. But, unfortunatly it is very good. lol
