  1. Eym - I did not read your whole post, but evolution goes hand in hand with religion. Creationism? There is no way to have a discussion about this without involving religion. Otherwise it would be onesided and not a converation at all.
  2. I can't help but wonder if this should be in the religious forum?
  3. Pay off this house, buy a house in TN, probably up on Signal Mountain or bear Soddy Daisy. Then a house in Cabo San Lucas, up on the Pedegral. We'll buy a fleet of fishing boats, and fish our days away
  4. Why do you think I bought the hubs some lap dances there? LOL One was straight off of Jerry Springer and the other ate a tube of peanuts during her act Blondie even came over and did her thing, and even made out with one of our party. Lawd, it was white trash heaven
  5. I will be going in there tomorrow. I will ask if I can remember and let you know. I'm rather forgetful these days. lol
  6. All of these, but I bet I have seen Steel Magnolias more than any other movie. I love, love that movie so much. Truby's salon reminds me if where I get my hair done. And my hairdresser looks like Truby, with the hair and all, lol. Plus John Hughes movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club. etc. St. Elmo's Fire Roadhouse
  7. Isn't that the truth. The last time I shopped at the Kroger on 61/278 the chashier gave me back two of my coupons and said, "You can't use these. Don't ask me why, you just can't." She was SO RUDE about it. Then told me the total. So, I told her no, that wasn't the total, that I would not be getting the items on the q's, to please take them off and out of the bags. I didn't offer to help, either. She was so mad... the line got long as they dug though all of my bags looking for it. . "lol OMG, I love your siggy about Chuck. LOL He is my hero, and I *heart* cowboy boots. LOL
  8. I know! Jim and the girls are the best. Jim knows me by name and they always have my stuff ready when they see me coming. Jim is so great at what he does, and he is just such a sweetie. It's nice to shop where everyone knows you. I do not go to WalMart unless I HAVE to, so I am only in there may once every 9 weeks or so. I always do all of my shopping at thsi Kroger. It's smaller, closer, and I can get in and get out. The one in Dallas is a PITA to get out of in a timely fashion. Not that great. The only time I shop there is when couponing. They have great sales and they double coup
  9. ^ What she said. I don't care if you said you don't want us to tell you what to do or not. I think you should do what NG said.
  10. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra Except for Blondiega1's, it is pretty much a mythical creature. Stuff of legends, mostly in Mexico and South America.
  11. LOL. It must really be a Kenny.
  12. No big deal. I know he comes home to me, and he always tells me about it. It really doesn't bother me. For his 30th several years ago I even bough him some lap dances.... at the Clairmont Lounge. LOL ETA: MrB usually does not go to these places, anyway. He is not a big fan. He usually ends up at them when out of town with a bachelor party or on business trips and he's with clients and co-workers.
  13. Blondiega1! Your chupacabra is loose
  14. You are correct. However, there are a lot of people that do not understand. There are also reward programs like the ECBs at CVS that take a bit to get the hang of. Your goal is to pay as close to nothing as possible.
  15. I agree Mrs G! People like this are going to ruin it for all of us. I love couponing, and when the lady said something like, "it's a high when you see your total" or something to that effect, she is right - it reaaly is, lol. I get so excited when I see my total after all of my coupons - it's like a game. But goodness graciouis I do not buy THAT much stuff, and I DON'T buy things we will not need. If I can't use it before it expires it goes to MUST ministries or our local food bank. Actually, my FIL does something with a charity and I am going to send him hom with a bunuch of men's deoder
  16. Oh, and I wanted to add: The Chattanooga area didn't see to get hit as hard as it did here with the collapse. I was in the steel industry, which was hit early and hard. However, I have been called twice by that employer to come back to work. If I hadn't have been able to go back where I am now I would have. But with a house here, we have no choice but to stick it out a little longer. ANyway, Volkswagon will be opening up soon, and Amazon is building a new distribution center there - it will add 1200+ jobs there very soon, not including the work that will go to construction of the facility
  17. Awww That is so sweet. Be careful on your way.
  18. Have fun! Wave to my in-laws since y'all will likely pass on I24
  19. May be true, but I was really refering (sp?) to the Chattanooga area. If you ask someone that has live there their whole life, "traffic sure has gotten awful". I crack. up. It's nothing. My in-laws live near Franklin/Spring Hill/Nashville area and it is beautiful there, too. Just no mountains nearby. Hey, don't worry, it won't. I'll be moving so fast to get the heck out of Georgia that it won't even come close.
  20. I have never heard of this, sorry. BUT, I have a Tempurpedic, and it is AWESOME. I love it so much. I have scoliosis and had a hard time sleeping on our old pillow top. It is worth every penny.
  21. I love Tennessee! And I miss it. So, so much. Sales tax is 9.25% and I'd GLADLY pay it to live there. There is no state income tax, property tax is way lower, it's a whopping $25 a year to get your tag renewed, $10 emission inspections, traffic is NOT a nightmare, and my entire family and all of my friends are there . The scenery is beautiful, and you are surrounded by mountains. I am homesick now. Yeah, a pretty awesome concept. Oh, and there is none of this damn red clay.
