  1. lol - I noticed that. I saw this this morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MX0D4oZwCsAhttp://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MX0D4oZwCsA
  2. That is what I was hoping you would say. It is what I had suspected.
  3. It does. It is so sad, too. My Charlie had it when he was a pup. It was terrible. I know they say to never take a puppy to places like PetSmart and walk on the floors, either. They also told me at the vet that once the ground is contaminated (yards, etc.) it will be for about a year ( I think). Poor Charlie was so sick, I really didn't think he was going to make it, even though we caught it early.
  4. With parvo, though, it really has nothing to do with management. If you have ever had a pet with parvo, would see how bad it is, and hard and expensive it is to treat if not caught early. I'm not arguing, just saying. I have had two pets with parvo. It spreads very easily and rapidly.
  5. lol CE, I read this like this: "Hey, I saw yew an open siiign the other week", as if you saw it somewhere to get for them, in a high pitched southern accent voice. LOL Sorry, I could not resist. Anyway, I do think they are open in the mornings at 6am. How do I now this, because this 11lbs I have gained had to come from somewhere.
  6. lol We go there on occasion, and they are pretty good. I like their chicken chimichangas. Those are really good.

    Bakery

    What she said. It's yummy!
  8. <----------- No. 10 Though, I might give them another try. Even if we were the only table in the whole place.
  9. I hate to hear that. Parvo is a terrible, terrible illness fo dogs to get.
  10. Yes, there was. It was a true story, and the guy, Frank Abagnale, is a very successful man now. He works with the FBI and runs some kind of security company. He designs checks, etc. for fraud protection. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Abagnale
  11. You date may depend on what day the place you want it held is available. We wanted a late October wedding, but when we found the place we wanted, we had to go with September 29th b/c they had a cancellation and that was all that was available for a year. I agree with CE on this, too. At mine we missed an Ohio State vs Miami game but it was all good.
  12. lol... My favorite part is at the end where he is crying and says, "...double complete rainbow..." This guy took some serious shrooms.

  15. I think I recall Lady Raider posting something. Let me see if I can find it ...
  16. Here is a list I found of organizations that help those that do not have hearing aid insurance coverage and do not qualify for Medicaid: http://websites.afar.org/site/PageServer?pagename=IA_l_hear_10_help Hope this helps
  17. I'm sorry. Everything will work out, though, so don't stress. Look, my father was born deaf. He had 10% hearing in one ear, and 0% in the other. For years his family thought he "wasn't all there". they realized he was deaf when he came home and told his mother that the mute priest at his school had talked to him. He learned to read lips at a very early age. He has never had any mental/developmental problems. He wore a hearing aid since he was a child. Several years ago he was approved for and got the Cochlear implant. He can hear almost perfectly now. So, with that said, do not w
  18. I have noticed this also, since school let out. I have seen some early teens riding their bikes on Macland in afternoon rush hour traffic. They scare the bejeezus out of me, too. I have also seen young kids walkin on Bill Carruth - also scares me, b/c no one does the speed limit on that road. It is always 50mph+. And, I even saw some kids on 278 near the skating rink, walking towards Bill Carruth.
  19. You know what, you are absolutely right If I had gone away to that college, I would have never met the most wonderful man in the world and married him.
  20. Dear younger me- You will NOT marry your high school sweet heart. Don’t throw away the college offer you dreamed of to take that chance. You will be HAPPY you didn’t marry him. The better choice will be standing by the bar in 3 years. Don’t starve yourself half to death. You will never look like a super model even if you were to weigh 95lbs. Time flies, have fun. Spend time with your closest friends, because before you know it they will have their own families and time will be limited. But, all in all, you did alright. Promise. You’ll be 28 before you realize it, though.
