I agree. I am torn though.. they will get the money somehow. I'd rather not increase what is an already ridiculous property tax (IMO). I wish they would re-do it and remove the parks & rec stuff.

I am heading to New Orleans this Saturday with my brother. We plan on taking a little longer route and going thru Mobile, and we are going to stop at the beaches. Which one I don't know yet. At least we hope. This is so sad.

Agreed! It's not like kids can drive themselves to MickyD's to get a Happy Meal. Things like this just really drive me nuts, honostly. Besides, I love fries from there. I don't eat there often, and when I do I get myself a HM, b/c I know that I would eat way more than I need and beyond being full. It satisfies my craving, and I don't go overboard. Some people just don't get responsibility.

Agreed. All of this reminds me of all the things my mom said about Madonna and Prince when I was a kid. LOL I turned out okay. I knew there was a difference between real life and the "life" stars' portrayed. IDK, I guess I never really cared either way what famous people did or didn't do outside of what they were famous for. (i.e. listenting to their music vs. knowing where they live and what they wore last night to the club. I don't care about the second part; it's just unimportant.)

I know.... Mine dropped almost 50% We've had so many forclosures in the neighborhood, and one right next door for sale at 81,000. We are never getting out of this house.
