I apologize if I came off as rude. Not my intention as I stated before. It just sounded to me like the kid has been in school a few days and is already (suddenly)deemed attention defecit. That didn't seem right. I was only looking for clarity.

Your son JUST started kindergarden and you want to medicate him because he won't sit still and is distracted? Was he in pre-k? is there a history of this behavior? Maybe he just needs some time to adjust to new settings and rules? not trying to be snarky but it bothers me when people are so quick to medicate their kids when often times the kid just needs a little more direction and dicipline.
