  1. When my friend moved to PCB, she hired 2 Men and a Truck. It did cost her a bit, but you have to consider that the guys have to drive to FL, unload, then stay overnight and return next day. She was very pleased with them and their work, said it was worth every penny.
  2. I work with the towing world every day, roadside assistance for most major insurance companies and carmakers. Towing charges for accidents are always at minimum double of a regular tow plus they are allowed to add cleanup charges and such. In fact, most accident tows are at least 3 to 4 times what a regular tow costs. Common sense at its best.
  3. I had always heard horror stories about Grady until my son was in accident and had to be life flighted there. He had pretty much every bone in his left leg broken, had 3 surgeries in a little over a week and was home in 2 weeks. He even fell and broke the femur a second time and they had to go in and do surgery again 6 months later. He hardly has any type of limp, which is rare with a broken femur. Grady is the very best place for anybody that needs a trauma unit and they have some of the best surgeons around. Just a royal pain to get there and then find where you have to go. Robbie is in
  4. I can almost guarantee that the guy was on Meth. It causes the paranoid effect and they will think people are following them frequently. Plus, looking at his complexion--he looks to be into it pretty good.
  5. I went many years without insurance, small law firms do not offer insurance. I have finally got very good, very affordable insurance with a part time job--working from home!! (Amazon) Medical (Premera BCBS, $300 per person deductible and 10% after that), dental and vision costs me less than $50 every 2 weeks. I have already used the medical a couple of times having some skin cancer spots removed and very pleased with it. Now to get some new glasses!! One yearly eye exam and a pair of glasses paid for in full--just have to set my appointment soon.
  6. I wish I knew somebody. My son got his many years ago from a guy that lived on Marshall Fuller Road, but Owen is now almost 17 yrs old (in September!). This was an older gentleman and I doubt if he is still raising them. We found him advertised in the AJC way back then. He is a long legged JR and you don't see them much anymore. Maybe call Dr. Judy or New Georgia Animal Hospital and ask them.
  7. Yeah, but if Hilary doesn't get indicted--we are in worse trouble. I have no idea exactly who would be worse, but my thoughts are leaning to Hilary!
  8. I have to use Microsoft Security Essentials due to my jobs. Any other protection will not allow my programs for work to run. I also have Malwarebytes, which is $25 per year. Only got this after I got a virus and my computer guy recommended it. No problems since.
  9. Sad, but it is 100% the truth!! As I sit here thinking about my son with the man bun and facial hair!! He will be 35 next week and has just recently let his hair grow. He claims I never let him grow it long when he was young, but I don't remember him ever asking!!
  10. Well, then guess out loud!! I think they need to be publicly humiliated for something so stupid. Guess they don't go to any family funerals or cemeteries either since they are full of crosses?? Just plain stupid for the City of Hiram to let one person control something that the general public would appreciate.
  11. I have had many cops tell me that all you have to say is I was dialing a number and not texting. When this law first went into effect, we had many Cobb County Police officers tell us they would not even write a ticket for it. I get it is dangerous--and I do not text and drive. Heck, I rarely even talk and drive.
  12. Yes, Brandi's is very good. They also have one in Marietta, on Church Street Ext (I think) across from Cobb EMC.
  13. I would get one of those hard small, medium coolers and put some of those hard plastic ice blocks under and over the sandwiches (and put the sandwiches in a flat plastic bowl to keep them from getting mushy). My boys do this all the time and don't have a problem. You can even use frozen water bottles and you have your drink! I am a fan of wrapping the ice in paper towels to control some of the melting and sweating.
  14. Oh great!! I usually go that way to take and pick up the grandson at middle school. Guess I will just have to remember to turn on Dallas Nebo for a while!
  15. Sorry this has happened. I will say, that my son was in an accident and was life-flighted to Grady last year. Their orthopedics department is wonderful!! His leg was basically held together by the tendons only when he arrived at the hospital. Four surgeries later, he was fixed. I have never had any personal dealings with Grady, but they did very good with my son.
  16. Last I knew, Gary had retired and the son-in-law (I think) was doing the work. He is good and just as honest as Gary. Called him about my washer several years ago, told him what it was doing, how old it was and he told me how much it would cost and said I would be better off getting another. I appreciated that.
  17. You are correct. However, if she filed this case in her name, the Bankruptcy Trustee over her case will have taken an interest in the case. You are required to list any lawsuits you are a party of (or potentially will be involved in) on your Bankruptcy Petition. Even if she did not list it when she filed, I am sure that somebody from this group has let the Bankruptcy Trustee know about it by now. Since the Bankruptcy is public record, their attorneys would not have a problem getting the Trustee information. This can also hold her Bankruptcy case open until this lawsuit is finalized--one way or
  18. I agree with you!! She has put a very good team together this year!
  19. Yeah, I really don't see them working that fast!! Heck, half the time the workers are just standing around on Bill Carruth!
  20. Found this:The C-130's design maximum gross weight is 155,000 pounds (175,000 pounds wartime) with a normal landing weight of 130,000 pounds. The operating weight is approximately 80,000 pounds. Just a little variation from what is previously posted.
  21. Yes, Amazon does it now, for certain areas. Not sure if they do it in the Atlanta area yet. I work for the Logistics Team for Amazon Prime Now, their 2 hour delivery team and the regular Amazon Logistics deliveries. I do know that the 2 hour deliveries are as far out as Douglasville and Powder Springs, but not to us yet. Most of the food deliveries I have dealt with are in Seattle, Dallas, TX and New York. Since I work morning and ealy afternoon, I get mostly the 2 hour delivery driver calls--very few food deliveries. I am told that at night most of your calls are for the Prime Now food de
  22. Didn't they just have one of these in Paulding?
  23. I think that shopping center is cursed!! Nothign ever lasts in it. It is in a weird location, even though it is right at the major intersection.
