I just can't stop think how wasteful it is to cut that cheese up that way!! LOL I would have me a bowl with all the little end pieces in it!!

Yes, refunds will be in the form of a Amazon gift card. Been doing that for a while now.

I saw that and wondered what he had done!! Those are some hefty charges he has.

One of my work at home jobs is for a Roadside Service company. We service Progressive, Nationwide, Safeco, Liberty Mutual, Kia, Ford, etc. They started sending out emails today begging folks to sign up for urgent service hours due to the weather headed up north. My hours have been raised, so I can work 99 hours this week--NOT!!

I agree with you!! Nothing makes it there. They put a lot of money into the original build of that place years ago. My ex did a lot of the electrical work. I hope Pat's makes it there. They were so nice when I took grandson down there to rent his stuff for homecoming!

You can call and cancel the Prime if you don't want it. You will get a refund. If you have used the services (shipping, movies, etc) it will just pro-rate your refund. -

Nothing and nobody shows a murder charge on the jail website. This person has been arrested but charged with kidnapping, flase imprisonment and agg assault. Guess they aren't updating the website again!! -

That house behind the lake is where the boy (or boys) that live in the white house grew up. The white house NEVER looked like that when the grandfather (Dean) was a live! -

For folks that have lived around here for a long time, we know that house by his name. He built the house and lived there forever. One (or both) of his grandsons have been living in the house since shortly after his death. -

Yes, our original email said Friday only, then yesterday we got one that said through Sunday. Had lots of calls on in yesterday and I am sure will have even more today! -

What people don't understand is the 2 day shipping. That does not take effect until the item actually ships and it might take an extra day (sometimes 2 if not readily available) to ship. Then the 2 day shipping goes into play. The best thing about Amazon is they stand behind their stuff. Even if it is UPS or FedEx fault or your item shows delivered but you did not get it--they will replace or refund--no questions asked. Now, they will flag you as a consessions abuser if you do this repeatedly!! During Christmas there was a huge problem with items delivered and not found--imagine that!! -
Has their Prime membership for $73 a year TODAY, January 15th, ONLY. You have to go to www.amazon.com/mozartprime to get it at that price.

I hate to hear about Mrs. Frances. Her family is very near to me. She fought hard! -
There used to be a Mr. clackum in Burnt Hickory that did upholstery, I think his son is doing it now. Don't know any nubmers but you might google search. I know that he used to do work for a lot of the Dr's and such in Marietta (offices and homes).

Unless it has changed, we used to have to run the checks thru twice before we could file suit. Used to do this at a credit union I worked for. If you aren't already--call the bank every day to verify funds. If you catch it on a day that he actually has money in the bank--RUN to the bank!! Good luck, hope you get your money.

Where to buy visa gift cards without the extra $5 fee?
tbird replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
What about the banks? Daughter works at Regions and I have had her get me a few, but don't remember if there was a charge or not, but then again, fees might be waived for employees. -

I just happen to work for Amazon part time from home and I will say that their customer service lines have been rather slow this year--compared to last year. I don't know if that means less shopping or that there are less problems!! And they used to be open 24 hrs for customer service, but now close up at 2:00 (EST). -

Toys R Us used to do this--not sure it they do now or not. Walmart is already open 24 hrs--what's the difference? -
I ditched UVerse about 5 months ago and do not regret it. I got my Roku's off Amazon, a couple of HD Antennas and pay less than $20 a month for Netflix and Hulu. I went with the plans that have commercials, but they aren't bad at all. Going from $180 a month for cable and internet to $56 for internet and less than $20 for TV hasn't hurt my feelings at all!!

I wonder if the rink area will be big enough to handle the crowds? Are they going to limit the time you are allowed on the rink? As much as I have roller skated in my lifetime--I could not ice skate at all. It takes a whole new toll on your ankles than roller skating does.

I am thinking more of the Charlie Brown tree at Walgreens!! LOL

Baked chicken breast (my son uses the recipe from the old Fletcher's in Hiram), potato salad, butter and herb pasta (for grandson) and garlic bread. I figure they might throw in some green beans or something. I have to work until 8:00--so the son is doing the cooking.
