It looks more suspicious to say your card was stolen and then you are still buying merchandise to your own address when you file a police report and claims with the bank -- that's the way the fraud investigators look at it anyway. Or, since it was a "local" crime (purse stolen), the criminal wanted to make it personal and trying to intimidate her if he/she were to get caught

It may not apply in this case, however, the full-time RV'ers do not typically have a home address to register their campers and get license tags, etc. They will usually use a relatives address for their driver license and tag, etc. --- They might have a cobb tag because that is where their son/daughter lives and they are here to visit for the christmas holidays. There are many places around the country that give people free lot rent and meals, etc for volunteering their time, and they will live out of their camper. Some companies will also pay minimum wage for 20 hours a week to work.

What is the best and easiest way to scrap a car?

right now, pull-a-part locations are giving the highest amount for salvage cars -- they are 14 cents a pound. You do not need to remove anything from the car or drain fluids, just take it over there on a trailer or tow dolly. The next best deal i know of locally is the recycling place on bankhead hwy between douglasville and lithia -- last i checked it was 10 cents a pound. cavaliers are approx 2600 pounds, so approx $365 or more. You are right that some (not all of them) salvagers want you to remove the gas tank and battery and drain oils and anti-freeze, etc. before they will buy it -
if you have large meats, then the chest is better for storing. Also, i have noticed less freezer burn on the chest freezer -- i am not sure why.

Like what was said earlier by others, you have to get the citation changed. Once it is written and entered locally, only a judge can change what you are pleaing guilty to (the da/solicitor only makes recommendations). If it gets to the dmv/dds as it is currently written, then you will get hit with the super speeder state law. When the clerk enters the ticket info into the state computer, the letter & fine & suspension date (if you don't pay) will be automatically mailed out to you.

Luckily this turned out ok, there are alot of those retired cop cars / crown vics out there. They are cheap and plentiful at auctions. The lights and blue lenses can be gotten online. Just drive through the 'hood and see what the latest style is in vehicles. I think it all started with the blues brothers movie, haha

so has the gas station --- here is a press release from cobb sheriff of similar crimes last month. Basically, skimming card numbers/pin numbers and then coding the magnetic strip on any gift card with the same info. Keep in mind that the banners and ads you see online are usually customized depending on the cookies/cache on your computer and where your computers IP address has been (i won't get in to NAT, etc). So, if you have been browsing cat food at web sites, you will start seeing cat related ads on other sites as well like amazon, yahoo, kroger, youtube, etc. If you are seeing naughty things in advertising, and you are not on a porn web site, it might be due to where the computer has been previously --- whether or not you have been the driver. Just a thought...

I agree, the signs maybe required, but they are still liable/negligent for anything coming off that truck. Gravel, dirt, lumber, retreads, etc. The signs also mention they are not responsible for damage, that is not part of the law requirement. It is only a tactic used to reduce the number of claims against the companies/drivers from the average citizens that would not know better. Another tactic commonly used, if you do decide to file a claim, is to get you to say how close you were to the truck.

I saw them at Pier One on monday, douglasville location. I am sure the dallas hwy location would have them too. Large ones individual or on a frame that will fit over the top of the door for approx $15, etc and small bells on a stick for kids hand held $5

Unfortunately, it would not have helped in this accident. The reports state the vehicles were at 55mph prior to the collision. The pile up occurred due to following to closely. Otherwise the 2 school buses would not have hit the truck or each other. The boy died because the school bus completely crushed his p/u truck, not because he was texting recently. This was not just a bump in the rear, from the pic, you can see that bus would have plowed into the semi-tractor even if the boy's truck was not in the way. Same for the 2nd bus that hit the first one. If anything, the pickup truck soft

"The board made the recommendation in connection with a deadly highway pileup in Missouri last year. The board said the initial collision in the accident near Gray Summit, Mo., was caused by the inattention of a 19 year-old-pickup driver who sent or received 11 texts in the 11 minutes immediately before the crash." pic from the missouri accident the NTSB is referencing -- august 2010
