I agree, find out more details before making decisions. Tattoos are not cheap and if he is going to an amateur, health issues like catching hepatitis come to mind. That is more permanent than loss of a privilege.

the down side is dumping the poop tank and winterizing it to keep the water lines from freezing (unless you are in florida all winter or keep it heated) with used RVs, look/smell for signs of mold. especially from roof leaks and toilet area. Also, climb on top and look at the roof membrane for cracking & bad seals around vents/air conditioning

There are many mail forwarding services out there, the more popular ones are "mail boxes etc" and UPS store. Although electric payments and billing are increasing, you will still get alot of paper mail from the government -- tags, vehicle taxes, etc. Keep in mind, families do get on sailboats and go around the world for a year or 2, so staying in contact with important stuff is not impossible. and georgia is one of those states with the enhanced ID program that requires the driver license to be mailed to physical address, not a PO Box or rental place like UPS store or mail boxe

You can drive across america visiting the national parks (or volunteering at a park for 2-6 months), you can get a six flags season pass and then visit all the six flags amusement and water parks around the country, you can volunteer and build churches or serve others at various youth camps, etc. Many places will let you stay free if you volunteer 10-20 hours a week. Some places, like the army corp of engineers parks pay you to be camp hosts, etc (the waiting list for the good parks 6-9 months out. Do not get a class "A" motor home -- too big, too much gas, and alot of the places you will

How to password protect stuff on an external hard drive?
marteenj replied to greg30127's topic in RECENT TOPICS
i am doing this from memory, so it may not be 100% accurate: if you have windows 7 home edition, i don't know if you can do that. But, all other versions, if you have administrator privileges, format the external drive as NTFS, then right-click the drive, go to properties, go to the security tab, click edit to change permissions, select the user name that you want to have access, deny all the others access (except administrator, which always has access). As long as the person is logged on to windows they will have access when it is plugged in, so you will have to log out to prevent s -
the psychological test part of the online application will eliminate a few though, haha

food bank --- warehouse of hope on hunter road, hwy92 near the paulding/douglas line douglas county animal shelter, i would say paulding shelter, but you have alot of paperwork and a background check for volunteers to work there (not that is a bad thing, just a hassle for someone to just volunteer) some other ideas are: atlanta zoo, georgia aquarium (although i think they require age 14 and up)

Here is a wsb-tv story from 1/7/12 where a Planet Smoothie employee in atlanta stole over 100 credit card numbers and got caught. Didn't say how she got the numbers though. link: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/police-smoothie-shop-employee-stole-customers-cred/nGHXb/ -
Are you prepared for the fees they will charge? The last rental we had someone manage, it was a little more than one months rent per year contract, plus an up front fee to get started. If there is a note on the property, then, like us, it could end up costing you money out of the pocket to use a manager. Also, there is the IRS issue. A management company is going to send you (& IRS) a rental income slip each january and your mom/you will have to pay tax on it and keep up with deductions, etc. I don't know how she has her estate set up, or nursing home set up, etc, but that could also affe

It was the same morale problems at the water dept where i worked when i first got out of high school (not paulding). County workers would take the low pay, administration as***, politics, etc in order to have "job security" and retirement. On the other hand, most of them could not get or maintain a regular job and were a perfect fit for the county civil service environment.

which could come first, the possible repeal in january or waiting on the supreme court?

maybe paulding can get some of these better trained officers, but they would probably have to take a pay cut

Are you talking about Luke's Place? 948 Front Street Mableton, GA 30126 phone 678-945-1847 www.lukesplaceclinic.org/ or community health center 6289 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Suite C Austell, GA 30168 phone 678-398-6548 www.chcaustell.org/

That is what i was thinking too, but almost any doctor (or dentist) will give you the same 25% off for cash paying customers anyway.

southside medical center over near turner field downtown. they have a walk-in dental clinic and charge $40 for cleanings, extractions and fillings, etc. The line can get long, so show up right at 8am and plan on being there 3 or 4 hours. bring proof of income or unemployment or tax returns, etc or they will not see you. they have several clinics around town for various medical specialties, but that one is the only one that has a dental facility. link: http://www.southsidemedical.net/

Did you get the Great Deal on the Childrens Table & Chairs?
marteenj replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
From the JCPenney Facebook Page: “We apologize for the recent incorrect pricing issue for our step2 patio and shade play set. Due to the pricing error we had an over abundance of orders placed. We will be honoring the price of $15 with a limit of one per customer until our stock has been depleted. We will be contacting all customers to inform them of their order status.” -

White Elephant Party: Has Anyone Been To One Lately?
marteenj replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
2 christmas's ago, i played at a family reunion or sorts with about 15 others. I got stuck with a traffic light --- a real one about 4 foot tall, couldn't get rid of it to the other guests. I wanted the pyrex dish set someone else had, but could not get it. Ironically enough, the traffic signal ended up being the most expensive item that night (valued at about $80) -
the basic pump out is approx $250 -- but, if your tank is 11 years old, it doesn't have the newer "man-hole" size opening that the newer houses have per health code. It will have the smaller "clean out" hole. The pumper will not get all the sludge out or be able to "inspect" the tank per their licensing and EPA. So, either they will do a half-*ss job pumping most (but not all) of it out to make a quick buck, or they will want to replace the top of the tank with a new one with a large man-hole (digging up about a 6' square). Now your price is closer to $500 or $600 if you agree with the

Did you get the Great Deal on the Childrens Table & Chairs?
marteenj replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
According to online posted comments, jcpenney is not going to honor the price on the already "purchased" ones (shipment pending) and will be sending you an email with the updated price for your approval before they ship it out on the 10th or 11th of this month. Good luck and i hope you get them, but it is not looking good. Let us know if JCP decides to honor their online pricing mistake. -
There is not really any copper in an electric furnace -- other than the wiring, etc. I am assuming you are talking about the furnace itself and not the air conditioning evaporator coil though.
