  1. It's an herb. Google.
  2. Hmmmmmmmmm. Strange. Does sound fishy he and a friend both had the weekend wrong for hunting. Sure that's being checked out. But why would he say she never leaves to go out at night if he was involved? I always HATE to hear this stuff. Makes me sick at my stomache. Poor kids!
  3. Unless things have changed much here in P.C., you might want to consider taking your child somewhere else to play. My son played his first year of baseball ever at Hiram when he was 4 turning 5. It was a terrible experience. Coach was all talk and no coaching. Led us to believe he wanted to put together a team that he could keep pretty much together going on up through the years. We were SOOO excited about this. It never happened. At end of season, half the kids on the team still did not even know where the bases were. We went to Powder Springs Park the next year (we live in P.C. with
  4. I used to live in Cobb and really appreciated their efforts to enforce all traffic laws. I wish Paulding would enforce them here. At least when I go to Cobb I know what to expect. They are consistent and I like it. The laws are for the safety of the majority and the majority generally follow them. Those that don't should be ticketed for jeopardizing the safety of the majority.
  5. Was just invited down to PCB for a few days with my best friend. Leaving friday as soon as work is over. DEFINATELY some Bloody Mary's goin down!!!!! Oh yeah, do the happy dance.
  6. I clicked on your link to see what it suggested and that is exactly how I make mine. Tomato juice, lime juice, celery salt, tobasco, black pepper, worcestershire sauce, and of course the vodka, smirnoff red for me. I like to mix mine in a small pitcher with ice and garnish with fresh celery stalks. Yum! Haven't had one in a while, might just have to be my Friday night thang this weekend.
  7. Great decision for your child's best interest! And doing it now, he will never know the difference. As far as whether to stay with the same facility or not, use your best judgement and gut feelings. Sounds like they have his best interests at heart too, not just sending him on thinking he may catch up next year. Pray about it if you believe in that. You'll make the right decision. Again I applaud you for the decision you've already made.
  8. Does anyone know where Waste Industries is out of and where they take their recycleables? What county?
  9. Unfortunately, sweetie, there is no free dental that I know of and I worked in dentistry for 20 years up until about 5 years ago. Also, for yourself, last I knew, medicaid only covered simple extractions for adults. It did not cover fillings or other restorations to teeth. There used to be a dental credit card called "Care Credit" that some dentists accepted. You could get an application from a dentist who accepted it. You might call around to see if any local dentists could help you that way.
  10. You just need to let it simmer on low for a couple of hours to tenderize the beef.
  11. Oh how I needed the laugh! That is sooo funny!!
  12. La Bamba Mexican Restaurant up on Cedarcrest.
  13. Since we don't like how the Egyptians are being treated let's all boycott Cairo Syrup.
  14. The park is already open. There are classes such as pilates already going on there.
  15. I believed I would grow up and meet Prince Charming and live happily ever after. I truly did! Cinderella was my favorite person and I thought I was supposed to grow up to be just like her. Minus the wicked stepmother and sisters. Boy what a disappointment I was in for.
  16. I used Turbo Tax for 4 years and found it to not be very user friendly FOR ME. Difficult to navigate if I needed to go back, or stop and go back in later. I finally switched to TaxAct and have used it the past 2 years. Amazing difference FOR ME. I love TaxAct! It is sooo much easier FOR ME to navigate. That's just my experience and opinion. Let the bashing begin.
  17. My son's favorite place to go is Hard Rock Cafe. It's a little on the pricey side but really big orders that could be split. Oh, and their food is good! Lots to walk around and look at there while you're waiting for your food.
  18. If you attend church they may have a fellowship hall you could use. If you live in a sub division do they have a clubhouse you can use/rent for cheap? Maybe a relative or close friend has access to one of these locations if you don't and maybe they could help you out. Or does a grandparent or someone else close have the room at their home and would they be willing to let you have it there?
  19. Hair Dryer Nail File New copy of your favorite magazine - (Just buy it now and pack it. Even if you don't go early it will be new to you when you do go.)
  20. Is there a way to access all of your information and delete it without having to pay?
  21. Only have comcast for local channels/reception.
  22. Great! Thanks sooooooo much 11 Alive! They just announced Dr. Phil will air at 3 a.m. Since I don't have Tivo nor anything important to do tomorrow guess I can interrupt my sleep to watch it.
  23. Who besides me is sick and tired of continuous news coverage on this weather and interrupted regular programming? I was looking forward to watching Dr. Phil today! He's having Ted Williams on there and is going to try and help this guy through his notoriety so that he doesn't relapse into drug/alcohol addiction. But no...........gotta watch more weather reports! Really, how much more can you have to say without waiting till 6 o'clock?
