Yes, always. My parents and mom's family always did and still do. My dad was an only child and lost his parents when I was young so I don't recall w/them. I do with my only son who is 15 and he does it too. On the phone, at night when we part, sometimes just in the middle of the day for no reason at all. It still imparts a positive impact every time. My mom's family and my family have always been very close, saying "I love you" all the time. We also hug and kiss when greeting and parting. It's very much a part of who we are.

I have a question. How do you feel about salons where the wash and blow dry is included in the fee for the cut, but they don't wash or dry unless you ask them too? Or they ask you if you want your hair washed and styled. This always irks me personally. Why would I not want those services if I am paying for them? And if they don't do those services that were supposed to be included, do you adjust your tip accordingly?

Pubby, Will this not be or have anything to do with the DOT project that is already planned to start; turning Hwy 92 into a 6 lane highway from I20/Fairburn Rd, Duralee lane, to Hiram Sudie Rd? That project is already in the works and is scheduled to be completed in approximately 10 years. I have been to DOT public meeting on that project. That project will be an express route for 18 wheelers to get from I20 to I75 N without having to use 285.
