Funny story- when my hubby was young his Mom always stuffed the turkey. Well, they had a cat or 3. After dinner the family was watching tv and Mom was cleaning the kitchen. Suddenly, the family hears Mom SCREAMING at the cat. They all run in the kitchen to see the Mom screaming at the top of her lungs at the cat. 2 other cats have made their way in to see what is going on. They see the turkey MOVING and the rear of the BAD cat sticking out of it. It was swaying from side to side as the freaked out and guilty cat was trying desperately to free herself. That poor guy. I just couldn't imagine waking up and finding out HE is my father. Bless his heart. Lots of therapy in the works for him!

I feel so bad for the woman who was attacked. I really hope she will be ok and without any lingering scars. To the OP with the daughter with a scar... I hope the dog was put down for her sake. Nothing like a scar to leave you insecure with yourself. I grew up with Pits and Weimaraners... My pits were the sweetest dogs and ever so gentle. My Weimaraner was the coolest dog who smiled at you but then as soon as you turned around, Pete bit you on the hiney. I have also known some really bad Pits, Chiuauas, mutts... the bigger the dog- the bigger the attack.

Typically we don't do it anymore. Since I lost Mama so close to TG- we just start decorating for Christmas. Hubby and I just enjoy each other and the quiet before the storm.

mine is easy and the men in the family love it!!! 2 qts water 1 tsp salt 1- 8 oz pkg. (or 1 c) elbow macaroni 4 cups (16 oz) shredded mild cheddar cheese 1- 8 oz. carton sour cream 1 c mayonnaise 1 c cheese crackers, crushed Bring water and salt to a boil, in a large dutch oven, and stir in macaroni. Return to boil and boil for 8 – 10 minutes. Drain and add next 3 ingredients. Spoon into casserole dish. Top with crushed cheese crackers. Bake for 30 minutes at 350.

As much as I'd like to lose weight faster than I am... I like food way too much. We don't fry anything in this house but I do love anything with gravy. We both enjoy food but eat in moderation (most of the time) and always try to eat before 7. It has worked out very well for us. Hubby cut out Cokes and dropped 20 lbs in a matter of minutes.

He is a sweet heart, too! BOTH the FSIL and the DH. I know Daddy loved my hubby- still does... but we were 33 and 38 when we married so I don't think he asked. Daddy would have said yes anyway. I just hope my daughters BF does this. I'm certain he will cause he is WONDERFUL!

Normally I don't enjoy the History channel. This, however, is AWESOME!!! We are DVRing it so we can spend the day Sunday watching all we can! It is a very well done series. (Yes, we did watch the first one)
