I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. You and your family will be in my thoughts during this difficult time. 21 is way too young to have to lose your parent! Please hang on to the wonderful memories you had with him. They will continue to pop up out of nowhere in the future. It's kinda like them just saying hi. I miss my Mom so much but she sends me these little reminders every once in a while and I enjoy them so much!!

I was 3 days shy of 40 when I lost my Mama, my Very Best Friend. She has been gone for almost 3 years and I don't think those wounds will ever heal. ImissShad, I can't imagine your pain of losing your Mother at such a young age. Bless your heart! Nikki (Mztuck) your poems broght tears to my eyes. They are wonderful and I thank you for them. For all of us who have lost our Mamas- I send you all big hugs because you need them.

Maybe in my 20's when I was young and totally stupid. But I am older and wiser. I just smoke and cuss while I am speeding. LOL!!!

No- but I probably would have. I got one a bit over a month ago in Cobb and another less than a week later in Las Vegas. So- this one would have really sucked. Yes- I do drive too fast- but I have a 5 speed something (I'll never tell) and I feel like a race car driver sometimes. Beat me up if ya'll want- but I'm still gonna go to fast, smoke too much, cuss and at times- even drink too much!

I didn't get one at Northside- but ALMOST got one on DB. But the cop was very nice and just gave me a warning. I was only doing 8 miles over and was coming DOWN the hill. Yes- I deserved one- but I'll be slower now....... wearing my cheap sunglasses....

Paulding County's finest are all over DB, though. I just talked myself out of a big, fat ticket. He was nice. SLOW DOWN!! BTW- I was doing 43 in a 35. OK- so I know I was speeding, but.....

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom almost 2 yrs ago to cancer and I miss her as much today as I did then. But to lose your mom at 19 is a horror that should never happen. All our moms are watching over us and we'll be with them again someday. Bless you and your family at this time.
