  1. I see Galina at Sanda Gane. She's GREAT! She will take the time to talk with you and explain ways to correct any problem areas. She's sometimes a little hard to understand because she has a thick eastern European accent. But she really is great. I don't have oily skin so I can't help you with that. But good luck on finding something, skin issues SUCK!
  2. We have had UVerse for over a year and love them. Their customer service for UVerse is separate from the rest of AT&T and it has been very good for us. The longest I've been on hold was maybe a minute and the rep took credited my account with no questions asked (DH had ordered the UFC fight en espanol oops). I'm bummed though, because obviously this will change once everyone switches over.
  3. I pay everything online through my bank as soon as I receive the bill or e-statement. I don't save any bills unless it has to do with taxes, rental house, or other important statements.
  4. The Ped Egg commercial was disgusting. I couldn't watch it.
  5. Throughout the years I have used quite a few different companies. I have to say the most professional was Stanley Steemer. They are a little more expensive but in my opinion, it was well worth the extra $$$.
  6. You'll never meet a Costa Rican with bad teeth. They are seriously militant about their dental health.
  7. We too love Costa Rica but I've never experienced 75 degrees all year round after numerous visits. Guess we visit different areas. My husband would say CR is his favorite but I'm always open to new places. The Maldives is my next place to visit so I'll let you know how it stacks up against other places. I truly enjoyed Kaua'i Hawaii as well since it was a laid back, very low key island. But the cost of food was ASTRONOMICAL! $7 for a loaf of bread is unthinkable.
  8. Well, at least they arrested the guy. Not that the taxpayers will ever re-coup any of that money but it makes me feel a little better that he was arrested.
  9. If she is going out of the country, go to Costa Rica. They have EXCELLENT dentists and cater to tons of medical and dentistry tourism. I wouldn't even go to Mexico to vacation, forget having work done on my teeth.
  10. Wow, guess my new system truly is paying for itself. My bill was $188 for a 3200 sq ft house. But it did go up from $105 last month.
  11. And people have the nerve to ask why I don't have kids. best of luck to ya! I have a friend with six kids(ages 3-11) and her husband is in Afghanistan. It could be a lot worse. Shudder.
  12. We offered well below asking price on our house even though it was a short sale and already a great value (85k under appraisal). Our offer was accepted quickly and we had no problems. But I kept telling myself, if it doesn't happen, then it wasn't meant to be. In fact, until we had the home inspection, I wasn't convinced it would be ours. Thankfully we got it and I couldn't be happier. Best of luck to you! Hope it works out for you as well. What subdivision did you end up finding it in?
  13. Fat people make me cry, I worry they are killing themselves with Twinkies and Sweet Tea. Feels great to be insulted, doesn't it?
  14. They still eat people in New Guinea. I've always wanted to visit there except for that pesky cannibal issue.
  15. You mean they didn't buy it at Kohl's? And ewwww, the tanned, rawhide. That is an unfortunate look. Makes me crave turkey jerky.
  16. I think she looks fine. Then again, I don't make fun of a person's weight, whether they are thin or overweight. I endured years of this type insults. I didn't want to tell the world my health issues so I endured comment, after painful comment about my weight (being called anorexic, looked like a cancer patient, needed to eat, etc).
  17. It will be a lonnggggg time before I can watch that again. I had to put down my 22 year old cat on the 21st of last month. That was one of the most traumatic moments of my life. I can still see her eyes looking up at me as she passed. I feel horrible because after petting her awhile and talking to her even though she was gone...I got freaked out. She no longer felt like my cat so I ran out and forgot to close her eyes. I fear that those eyes and my error will haunt me forever. So yeah, ummmmmm, NOT watching that movie for a long time.
  18. EEEEKKKKK, "mature"? Awwww cheezit, does that mean I'm a mature woman now? ::::runningofftosobinmycloset:::: I feel ya on the capris. They serve a purpose for me which is gardening when no one is looking. Do short dresses count? Wonder if there is a specific allowable length. I can't remember the last mini I wore, but now I feel I'm giving up part of my youth
  19. Is this an old fashioned myth that has gone to the wayside? Or should 35 year old women throw out their minis immediately? What about shorts (as long as no mustntouchit is showing)? Older enquiring minds would like to know...
  20. I was an outright slob when I was a kid. Now I get after my Mom for leaving dishes in my sink and crumbs on the counter when she comes to visit. She always told me that when I got my own place, I would change. She sure was right. But I still would like a maid once in awhile.
  21. The lake you are talking about....is the one that had the goats? If so, does anyone know what happened to them? Every time I saw them they put a smile on my face. I noticed that area was declining when I became scared to shop at ingles by myself after dark. I hope they find the criminals, but I have a sad feeling there are more than just a couple to catch. Good luck to ya!
  22. I go through this too...except I live by myself I feel like all I do is pick up after myself and I'm far from a messy person.

    Why

OK, so it's really NOT a 90 day rule? Sorry, just a little confused now.

    Why

OK then why was the Property Assessment topic closed? It was started only last month and someone had just posted in it.
