Doesn't the word, "alcohol" encompass beer, wine, AND liquor? I think that was the point.

7 year old Jorely Rivera unfortunately found

It's scary that so many people are filled with such hatred and are willing to inflict violence on a man who has not even been tried. We haven't even heard any evidence yet. -

I'll bet that he gets Jimmy Berry too. If I were ever accused of anything, Mr. Berry would be my first phone call. -

OMG, the Reagan one has ALWAYS bothered me. Can't they just be their children without the extra adjective? I guess people who have never been closely touched by adoption don't really understand it. I doubt Nancy Reagan ever introduced her children as Adopted Maureen or Adopted Michael. Sorry for the slight hijack... -

I'm adopted. Issues are issues whether you are adopted or biological. I also cringe every time the word "adopted" comes up because it's once again a reminder that we aren't really just family. If we were, the term wouldn't be used at all. -
Are these calls from companies you have done business with in the past, or completely random?

Not that I think it relevant to the case but WSB says they were adopted when they were young. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/children-returned-to-slain-girls-mother/nFxfh/ It just goes to show you how unreliable our news sources truly are. You can hardly believe anything they report anymore. -
It's because of "Smitty"'s large, bolded reply. And it's annoying.

If you're in line at a store or the bank
justgettingby replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'd LOVE to be able to use the machine but my packages require customs forms. So I'm stuck in the line with negativity, entitlement, and the occasional "Grandma for Peace" (ooohh, that was fun). -

YES!!! The Brookstone Post Office is THE WORST place for this. Each person that walks in, bitches about the length of the line, makes some unoriginal comment about the USPS being in debt, and huffs and puffs for the 10 minutes they stand in line. As if they didn't know there would be a line and that somehow their time is more important than mine. If you can't make a pleasant conversation with the person next to you, just SHUT THE EFF UP for the sake of everyone around you! I'll gladly drive 15 minutes to the Dallas P.O. instead of listening to the bitchy people at the office a mile fro -
Good to know, thanks! It used to be you had to actually send a deposit to USAA via UPS. I'll have to keep this in mind. I usually deposit by scanning online but every once in a great while I'll get a check that is virtually impossible to scan.

Have you called USAA about the deposit issue? I have USAA but got it through my husband since he's a vet. But my friend has USAA via her ex who was passed the membership from his father. She is able to deposit online, although she's been a member for 20+ years so maybe she was "grandfathered" in. If the depositing is the only issue, if you haven't, I would call them and see if you have any options. I'm sure you already know, they have excellent customer service so if they can help, I'm sure they will. It might be a bit of an annoyance for you but you can also send a deposit via UPS fo

It's not so much the house that pisses me off since there are too many "what if's" there. But the trips to Turkey, Tel Aviv, and Mexico?!?! That irks me. I want to go to Turkey so bad! But the lazy punks got there before I did by sucking off the government teet. Grrrrrr.

I have no choice but to use the USPS to mail my husband packages overseas. I suppose now it's going to take even longer, oh happy day.

Curious. What does being a Christian parent have to do with your children believing in Santa Claus? -
I'vr got no problem with it as long as the ingredients are listed.

How did she know if they were legal or illegal? She checked all 100 employees immigration status? If she did and found out they were all illegal, I'm assuming she called ICE, right? Where are you getting your statistics on who works manufacturing jobs? I'd like to inform myself so if you could point me to the stats I'd appreciate it.

List your top 5 favorite beauty "must haves"...
justgettingby replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Technically it has to be prescribed. I got mine at Sanda Gane from an NP. It costs from $100-125 per bottle which the company, Allergan, says is a one month supply. But I've made mine last two+ months by using one drop a night (instead of two). When I got my desired results, I dropped down to every other night. It took about 3-4 weeks to see the difference. The only side effects I have noticed was the first few days, my eyes were a little drier (I wear contacts). But that has long since cleared up. If I decide to stop using it, after a few months my lashes and brows will go back to -

Right now I'm loving Latisse! Sure, I have other "must haves" but Latisse is my newest. I LOVE what it does to my eyelashes, but even cooler is that I've been using it (off label) for my eyebrows. They have gotten darker and filled in the sparse spots. And you don't have to use it every night to get great results like Allergan wants you to. -
My husband and I don't buy gifts for each other at Christmas. We get gifts throughout the year so it seems silly to spend money just to spend it at Christmas. Instead, we make monetary donations to a few charities that are dear to us. We spend a couple hundred on our mothers, and give my 28 yr old stepson $300 (which I think is too much for his age).

Mine is set at 64 degrees so the heat rarely kicks in. I did light the enclosed glass fireplace and it really heats the place up. No cold drafts like my old wood burning one.
