Naan is an Indian bread, kind of like pita bread but wayyyyyy better. You can either make your own http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/naan/detail.aspx or buy it at most grocery stores. I use it sometimes to make my own personal pizza. One piece of Naan makes for a good serving size. So each person can pick and choose what toppings they want on their own pizzas. It's soooooooo good and so much better than a frozen pizza and almost as easy.

I've had Propofol a few times. Each time it was administered by an Anesthesiologist. In fact, last time I had it, the doc called it "The Michael Jackson drug". Yes, it was the best sleep I've ever had but I simply cannot fathom taking it everyday. I've said some of the dumbest things in my life while waking up from Propofol.

I've NEVER double parked my Corvette. Yes, it's a nice car, but it's no Lambourghini. It's no more special than the single mom who saved cash so she could buy a used Focus, or the 16 year old who just got their first car. If you are that paranoid about getting a ding here or there, perhaps you should only drive it. Don't take the special baby out to WalMart, festivals, or park it at the mall. Or don't own one if you can't handle the thought of getting a ding in it. It's only a car....get over yourself.

Wish I had taken a pic of the doofus who parked in FRONT of the cart return at WalMart yesterday. If I wasn't such a nice person, I would have accidentally scraped my cart against their car while I was trying to do the right thing and put my cart where it belongs.

I was just watching "Beverly Hills Bride" on TLC. The wedding planner was on and said that the character on Father of The Bride was based on him. I don't know if it's true or not, but I completely see it.

I lived near one in San Diego and never experienced any of those negatives. I LOVED being right off the interstate, everything was so close. NG, sounds like you lived in Chicago lol.

They are GREAT! I've been a member for 14 years now and use almost all of their services. I can't imagine banking with anyone else. And never once has it been an issue that they don't have any of their banks in this area. Now you can deposit a check by scanning, using an IPhone app or mailing for free through UPS or regular mail. I scan deposits and it's super easy. We had our mortgage with them and closing was a breeze, not a single problem. Just this week we transferred our investments from Merrill to USAA and the financial advisors couldn't have been more helpful. Can you tell, I LOVE

I'm on hold with Regions right now, waiting to find out how to close my account.

I do all my banking with USAA but have a Regions acct just to have something local. I never use the debit card, atm, or anything. I noticed a $10 fee this month on my statement so I will be cancelling my acct with Regions. I went through this once before with them and they said I had to have a minimum direct deposit of $10 a month. I changed the monthly deposit and am now being charged again. I give up with them. USAA has TRUE free checking. No monthly fees, no minimum deposits, no minimum balances required. LOVE USAA!

Sad thing is that they'll just find another way to charge the "fee".

Almost all of my family is without power (in CT, MA, and ME). I wish my MIL would just move south.

Monday is Halloween so this weekend is the "holiday weekend". Lots of people going to parties, etc and not too concerned with going to yard sales.

I almost killed myseslf by trying to go "natural" without putting "poison" in my body. It's all well and good to try the natural route, just don't fool yourself either. Sometimes you NEED medicine. I have found that works best for my auto-immune disease is a combination of modern medicine plus holistic. Research both sides. There are some autoimmune diseases that can be fatal without medications. So please remember when you call medications "poison" and villify those who take it, not everyone has the option of life without modern medicine. I have never felt better since I started a juic

On the website, it says pickup for Hope Church is Tuesdays 1-6pm. They also have pickup sites in Bentwater, Seven Hills, Brookstone, etc if that is closer for anyone. I can't wait to try this! If you sign up on their site, you can try it once without paying the $10 membership fee. I juice so much fruits and veggies that this will be very helpful (as long as it isn't all iceberg lettuce and white potatoes).
