  1. Try Esteban. He offers both book and DVD's in both classical and steel guitar. He also sells guitars on his website as well as HSN.com. I love his music. http://www.estebanmusic.com/shop/merch/
  2. JcPenney carries some New Balance. I have also bought them from Sports Authority and Rack Room before. My feet have a lot of pain and swelling, so I love the wide width for women in this brand.
  3. Yep. I am glad I stopped by too and I know ALL about late night silly hours. You guys gave me a little laugh tonight/morning. Good morning.
  4. Nope, you are not crazy! I have been there and done almost this exact same thing with my hubby and his thumb, so I COMPLETELY understand you. He was target practicing with my .38 revolver that was only 1 year old, when it "exploded" in his hand. His thumb was almost completely torn off and barely attached. The ER doctor in SC (near my dad's home where we were visiting) set it, sutured it and gave him enough meds to get us home the next day. We then started seeing an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand microsurgery in Marietta. He said the bone in hubby's thumb was in 12 different pieces
  5. I completely agree with this statement. It sums up what we went through fairly well.
  6. This illness is not JUST a children's illness! Even if you had the vaccine as a child, or even updated as an adult, an ADULT must revaccinate every 10 years with the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) booster. I also believe I have had it in 2003-2004. At first it was thought to be the flu just after Thanksgiving. After it didn't go away my doctor started me on a 2 week round of antibiotics for bronchitis. It still didn't go away and a few days before Christmas I was coughing almost constantly, so hard that I couldn't breathe, it sounded "weird" and I felt something "pop" in my rib
  7. Yes'em Lowrider! First I need sleep now, hence why I wanted to know what time the polls close. Everyone have a happy and safe election day!
  8. Oh ok, even better. I thought they all close at 7pm.
  9. UGH! I feel like I have been researching all night because I waited until the last minute to do so. What time do the local polls close today? Specifically the Mt. Tabor location? TYIA
  10. You are very welcome. I try to go to this website every day and "click the button" for free mammograms. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
  11. From what was reported on WSBtv he tried to jump out of the bucket but his safety harness caught him and HELD him over the fire until the fire burned through the harness, then he fell the 30 feet. Could you imagine? :shudder at the thought: I am also saying prayers that he will survive and have a quick healing.
  12. Try this breast cancer website. You can make a donation in her name as a gift or they have an online store where there are bags, jewelry, apparel, home items etc. that you can order. Each purchase or donation helps to fund mammograms for women in need. http://www.thebreast....faces?siteId=2 Information about The Breast Cancer Site: About The Breast Cancer Site
  13. Yep. I wear the Acuvue 2 two week disposables. Sometimes I will take them out and rinse with solution, then pop them back in. Usually I don't do this though and I have never had a problem other than allergies during pollen season. According to ophthalmologists you are NOT SUPPOSED to do this! I am just saying that I don't have a problem with wearing them all the time. Some ophthalmologists will tell you to take disposable contacts out every night. Some will say take them out and disinfect with solution at least once a week. With disposables I have never had to do anything more than rinsing wit
  14. Yep, we qualify. The fire hydrant is actually between our driveway and our neighbors yard. We think it was put right on the property line (in the county right of way) but aren't really sure. Oh, this made me think about getting more indoor extinguishers. I think you have to replace or recharge them every so often.
  15. I've been wearing Acuvue 2 for around 15 years now and LOVE them. I will wear them for the entire 2 weeks straight, then throw them away for a new pair. Usually the only time I need eye drops is during pollen season and when I first wake up. I use the BlinkNClean drops because it helps to remove protein deposits. I have VERY dry eyes and these are the only contacts that feel comfortable to me. I am not sure about other brands but Acuvue contacts contain a UV protectant.
  16. I believe in real paranormal activity because I have seen a few things in my life. Hubby doesn't really believe in it. However, we both thought that movie didn't seem real at all, much less a "true story".
  17. You could put down flour or baby powder on the inside floor to see if any tracks show. I wouldn't think this could help outside though because it would get wet.
  18. I've never seen the movie. I did buy another 5 lb bag of Vidalias today though.
  19. That is so weird sounding for this area. Wow at some of the things you learn on P.com. Maybe this time next year you will have more than 2 making that noise!
  20. LOL That's funny because you have me listening to bull frog sounds now BEFORE you posted that you were! I have heard that a wild cat will sound more like a woman's scream, so I doubt that's it. Do you live near anyone that has cattle?
  21. Thank you MP. I didn't think about the onion smell in the freezer. Good idea. I love onions, so I guess one day I will find a huge bag and set to working one afternoon on them. I just bought my upright freezer last fall.
  22. You are right about that. A bull frog has a VERY deep sound and we have a ton of frogs around our house this year of several different types. I have been hearing them every night.
