The unplanned moments in life are the funniest...

The old lady speaks: Wow! Back in my day (I hate to keep saying that); it was hard (let's say (ahem) difficult). Very few times, when I thought we were clearly "just friends" did my male counterpart truly stick to that idea. I did have a few "just friends"; and a very few "friends with benefits". I had some male friends who thought that if they were in a room (bar) with any single female; that it was a "given" that were would be some sort of "hook up". Even if you make it clear, they still didn't get it. "I'm not dating right now", according to them, meant I'm not dating right now

I try very had to pay attention to the issues; not the party affiliation of the person; but i have to agree here. They quickly point the finger but slide their dirty little secrets under the rug. Perverts will be perverts; dem or repub! Scandals all over the place for both parties.

Do you have a website? How many years experience do you have involved in a cleaning business? Thank you.

"back in the day", when i was involved with cashiering, our store didn't have the luxury of advising us of the correct change. We had to count it out! Simple math. The folks no longer have to learn that.

Any wood trails, watering hole, waterfalls, etc in the area?
MissSophie replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
By "watering holes", did you mean actual "water"? There's a few good bars around where you can get watered. -
Good for him!!!!! Although I wish some genital mutilation would have also been included.

A cool and refreshing dessert. sliced angel food cake, layered in a 9 x 13 container with prepared pistachio pudding (2 boxes) (about 2 or 3 layers) Top with cool whip; garnish with anything (shaved chocolate, mint leaves, crushed peanuts, etc.)

I have one each ready-to-pick zucchini and squash that I will sautee with some onion; honey mustard chicken (new recipe) and salad. I think I will have cucumber ready to pick from the garden also. I am not-so-patiently waiting for tomatoes to ripen!!! Ok, you fabulous cooks let me know what you are having. With all the great foods you all make, we should all get together every few months for "pass the dish" party.

isn't that the same time as the book signing?

A co-worker went through this. You can call juvenile authorities. They work with the family for a solution; but it does not include allowing the teen to continue disrespectful behavior. After 3 calls, the little darling is removed from the home to a juvenile center. Tough love.

Did you write that in your sleep? You weren't actually "up" were you?

I spent one week in NYC and had no allergy symptoms. I am the same as you with the throat thing. I am going to try an air purifier. Claritan gives me headaches. Good luck.

I might just stop by. my SIL is a war "buff". Have you heard of the book: Unforgettable, the story or biography of Capt Thomas Flynn? I think this one is WW II. The author is part of my "in law" family members. I just ordered it and will let you know how i like it. I recently won a prize (don't remember which one).

Wine Tasting at Olive Tree Monday June 18th 5:30pm-8:30pm
MissSophie replied to 0l1ve's topic in Business NEWS
That sounds like a really nice evening. -
Yes, that sounds wonderful. I can't seem to get the hang of lamb but that sauce sounds great for a regular burger. TY

Everyone who knows me laughs at how picky I am about meat; and I am very overweight so it seems weird that I am picky about anything!! I don't think I could feed it to the dogs either.

People Who've Been Fed Bologna All Their Lives
MissSophie replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Well I grew up in Amish country in PA. We all ate that local boloney. But my report was always good because my teachers were all full of the same boloney. (One thing for sure no one ever asked for a bologna sammich!!) I seldom eat baloney any more; but I've been known to feed people some. -

MissSophie replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have heard both Dave Ramsey and Clark Howard give negative comments on the reverse mortgage. -

I Have An Appointment With Doctor Edith Buggers
MissSophie replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No spelling classes required! A frequent mistake when comparing boogers and buggers. A a small child, my mother convinced me that if I ate boogers, they would show sticking to my ribs on a chest xray. -

You are all upset over nothing. It is BOOgers; not buggers. She is just going to check for bugs in your nose and ears.
