My son is 24 and has been married for 3 years. He had known his sweet wife for less than 6 months when he proposed. When they got married they had not know each other quite a year. When my son talked to me about proposing, I told him that only the two of them and the Lord could know if it was right. Knowing someone for a longer period of time gives no guarantees. I told him to make sure he was doing it for the right reasons. They celebrated their 3rd anniversary recently. I'm very proud of my kids and love them dearly. I'm sure that their marriage isn't perfect, althgouth it seems pret

The Samsung Solstice is a cool phone, but I have no personal knowledge of it... does anyone else? And of course the master of touch phones... the iPhone is sheer awesomeness.. but out of my budget! (My son has it)

I left my career of 24 years after climbing my way to management to stay home with my son 2 1/2 years ago. He was 3 then. I've never regretted what I did. The past year I've been blessed to keep a precious little angel, but his Mom is leaving the workforce and becoming a SAHM herself at the end of the year. My little one is now in Kindergarden, I am room mom and volunteer in his class room, was one day a week, but I've had to step back from that right now. I also work from home, doing online chat support for a major company, I've just recently started that. Even before the chat job, I h

Come join us at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church for a walk through Bethlem if you were planning on the Natvity tonight. Gates open at 6pm and it's been moved indoors due to the cold... burrrrr...... Live animals for the kiddos to enjoy! -
My original plan was to make photo ordiments, but it's not working out too well. Was going to use wooden disks paninted and then modge podge a b/w picture of each famly member to one side for a "family tree". Haveing a hard time collecting my pictures.

I go in my husbands wallet if I need somthing, and same for him in my purse/wallet. I don't think they are off limits. BUT I trust my husband and no that I don't need to snoop. I respect him and vice versa. Without trust what is a relationship anyway?

My daddy has been gone for 3 1/2 years. Will be our 3rd Chrismas wtihout him. We were very close, talked almost daily and saw each other if even just briefly at least once a week. My step mom still lives close and I talk to her often and see her every couple weeks. My mom lives in the Town Center area, so not that far, but I'm not as close to her as I was my Daddy. We talk every few weeks, maybe more frequently depending on what is going on and last time I saw here was.... ummmm well, I'm not even sure. But will see her tomorrow if all goes well. I am thankful that I'm close to my

We've got grown, married children and a 5 year old who still expects Santa. Money is extremely tight for up, one of the oder boys is even helping with Santa for his brothers. We've always given equally (money wise) to all of our children (indluding my DIL) until last year. This year we probably won't be able to buy for the grown kids. I'll be getting them something very small for Christmas and then trying to do a little more for them after Christmas... because I want to, not because I have to.

With my oldest son, I took him every year for the Grand Lighting ceremony. It is awesome... little one is 5 and will love them this year! We haven't taken him yet. -
My husband asked for my Daddy's blessing before we got married. I thought it was very sweet! Daddy already loved him, but I think he moved up even a couple more notches when he did that! What a wonderful way to start a marriage. I have to add that my son also asked his Father in Law.
