Thank you God for my family, for a roof over my head, a warm place to sleep at night and food in my belly.

Oh my goodness, glad she wasn't hurt worse... that could have been really bad. I think I'd be chasing me down some kids or knocking on doors.

we're scraping the bottom of the barrell here, so it was pigs in a blanket, french fries and pork n beans. Not the best dinner, but our belly's are full.

Looking for a place to have a birthday party at!

We had my son's 2nd at Gymboree too... and his 1st at home. Good luck. -
They do send out bills... but if you're out of work and have no money, you have no money. He didn't drive the vehicle until he got a job he had to go to. We have NEVER been in a position as this, like I'm sure many other American's haven't. It's only by the grace of God that we still have a roof over our heads. If there had been anyone to borrow the money from, we would have. If there was anyone we could borrow the money from to pay the 2nd ticket... we would.

It's definately no body's fault but our own, we're just a victim of circumstances like so many are right now. But it's our fault... knew the tag was expired and made the choice to drive anyway... it wasn't a hard one to make. Had to get to work Thanks for all the suggestions.

Where Were You on 9-11-01, When You Heard About the Twin Towers?
natesmom2 replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was in a meeting in my Managers office... someone ran in and said OMG a plane just hit the twin towers.... the rest as we know as history. Awful, sad history!!! and to add.... then, after I left work early to be home w/ my son when he got home from school. Needed to hold my baby and be w/ him. -
so sad! Prayers for the family and friends.

yes, I have but like I said I was in Cobb, not Paulding. I know that they can be, but it is up to the descretion of the prosecutor/judge. Just wondering if anyone had any experience w/ Paulding and knew if it was worth my hubby missing a morning of work... or going to work and trying to make a little money (he is commision only and work is VERY slow, so missing a morning wouldn't necessarly be missing any money or much money.)

I have court experience in Cobb and know that he can receive 2 tickets. He can receive 2 tickets in the same day. The fine is $73 which I know isn't a lot, but it is a LOT to us right now. We already paid over $100 for the 1st one.

Okay, I'm curious.... my hubby got 2, yes TWO expried tag tickets a day apart from each other. The first from Hiram (which has been paid) and the 2nd is Paulding Count. Yes, the tag was expired, and yes he was driving. He had not been driving as he had been out of work and we didn't have the $$ for the tag. The week he went back to work, he was caught (had to work to have $$ for the tag)... I know, the law, and know that it's not an excuse, but that's the reason. My question is that we put off the one in Paulding because we didn't have the money for it. Yes, we have the tag now, got it a

I think it's an awsome thing you are thinking of doing.... not sure I could. Although, I have thought about being a serrogate for a very close family member if they can't get preg on their own.

Good for you all!!!!! We were having a prob a while back in our subdivision (which will remain unnamed) and I'll be the first to tell you that I would have feared for my life to do what you guys are doing. I did call the police on several occasions for all the good it did, but didn't want "them" to know I was the one to call. Congrats for being brave enough to take a stand!!

I also LOVE my toaster oven and my electric skillet!!!! I use both ALL the time (the skillet prob more than the toaster over.) I actually got a new skillet when I got married 7 years ago and need another... but I'm picky when it comes to my electric skillet, need a good one; the cheaper ones aren't worth having. I would much rather use it and wash it than cook most things on the stove.

oh my.... and somewhere in Paulding County I assume... lol

this is how I made it too.. my ped. w/ my first gave it to me tot, many years ago.

We like the beef, the Cheeseburger and the mexican ones. I love to "doctor up" the cheeseburger... I add a can of tomatoes (drained) and a can of whole kernel corn (also drained.)
