Yes, I hear a constant high pitch sound, it gets real intense just prior to a dizzy spell. I take Meclizine (antivert) and was just prescribed a mild diuretic as well. Dr says Meniere's is over diagnosed; yet, I am truly a textbook patient. (and from what I've read, I have to agree with him). This was a diagnosis of exclusions, CT Scan, MRI, hearing tests, etc before deciding to call it Meniere's.

My 18 year old chose to go the blue collar route & attended linworker training school right after graduating HS. He has his CDL, OSHA 15 & a host of other certifications. He's now employed with Pike as an apprentice making more per hour than his dad; who is a firefighter. Our other boy has just been hired as a student intern for Paulding Co Sheriff. It's his dream to be an officer, he's opting out of the college rote for now as well ( I've tried to reason with him, really!) and plans to attend mandate school once he becomes eligible. I am confident in their future success. Bo

Any inner ear specialist recommendations? I think I'd rather be deaf than continue with the uncertainty of when one of the dizzy spells will hit. I'm pretty easy going but I think I'd be mortified if I had a dizzy/ dry heaving/ falling down spell in public. It sure is quiet in my little bubble world though.... The six year old is still shooting that noisy elctronic machine gun? Oh. Hadn't noticed

Yesterday I was told by my ENT that I have a textbook case of Meniere's Disease. I have had two horrible episodes of dizziness, dry heaves & ringing ears. I was hearing impaired, now I'm pretty much deaf. Is there anyone else on this board who has experience with this issue? Google hasn't freaked me out too bad yet, just looking for first hand info of what others have experienced.....

This guy is awesome. You just don't find 'em like Subby anymore- honest, hard working, friendly- the real deal! His reputation means the world to him & he stands by his work. More than fair prices & superb quality. He's got a customer for life here! *no relation or affiliation, just really impressed with his character & work!*

I gave my notice last week. I've been with this company for 12 years (minus one year I was laid off due to downturn in construction then called back to work). My husband & I have made the decision for me to work at home (I'm gonna do what Blondie does!!!!) and allow a flexible schedule for me to be with the kids. SO, I didn't tell my employer I found a better offer, yada, yada- just told them the true reason that We had made a decision for me to be at home with the kids going forward. Now, they've tried everything in the book to convince me to stay. Don't ever burn your bridges

My daughter is in good health & needs her sports physical completed for cheerleading. Our doctor does not have any appts that fit in the work/ extra curricular schedule right now. . . where do you go- I see we can do the walk-in clinics- what's the best deal? Insurance doesn't cover sports physicals so its $35 at my Dr. I called Walgreens Clinic- theirs is $35 + $15 for forms. Other suggestions?

Check out County Dental - they are Commerce Members on here too. My husband & I have each been & really like their office. If you are a county employee they have special "I can't pay pricing" maybe they can work comething out for you as well!

Funny, I just said to my husband last night that I should go see "Caped Crusader from Pcom" when I take three days off during Winter Break for the kids. Our HO policy is ridiculous- its amost quadrupled since we bought the house 6 years ago!!?? Will the special incentive still be available Feb 20-22? Regardless, I've heard many a good things about you & plan to see for myself real soon!

Where do you meet at? My husband is not on shift Mon- I'll check if he's available. He's awesome at fire safety/ first aid! -
That's County Dental I went & loved it! Very clean, nice & friendly. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to dental - this was actually a pleasant experience! Their "I can't pay plan" is the real deal! If you are a county govt. employee you REALLY NEED to check this place out! What an awesome program to provide to public servants & their families! I am going to bring our older 3 teens there for their next cleanings- they're a bit big for the pediatric dentist these days!

I was visiting my husband at the station when a call came out for an apartment fire off Old Harris. I don't know any details. Praying everyone is safe.
