I think, technically, they are not allowed anyway and are in violation of DOT right of way. So, no need to go to the supreme court if current regulations are followed and enforced.

It will be months before the GSP's SCRT report is available. Time to move on.

I don't know of any public areas on the pumpkvine. If you are in that area, just go north on 41 to Allatoona dam road. There is a public boat ramp right near the dam. Water is pretty cool so your dogs should enjoy.

The joke is that my mom sent this to me. I always bust my wife about how her pot roast is not like my mom's, etc. So I have gotten the crap knocked out of me a time or two.

He didn't like the casserole And he didn't like my cake, He said my biscuits were too hard Not like his mother used to make. I didn't perk the coffee right He didn't like the stew, I didn't mend his socks The way his mother used to do. I pondered for an answer I was looking for a clue. Then I turned around and Smacked the cheeze out of him.... Like his mother used to do. I love a good poem, don't you?

The only dooche that I know is this: I wonder where all those kids are today?

I'll agree that Steven is a great and reasonable resource for car repairs. He has done repairs on my personal vehicle as well as for a friend. He was flexible to schedules and to payment needs. I recommend him often because of the great value for the service.

Challenge to Chairman of the BOC and other Post Commissioner
FreeBird replied to clover's topic in RECENT TOPICS
A post commissioner is part time - I think the salary is like $20,000/year. I don't think they do it for the money, but for the kickbacks and other power that comes along with the position. Maybe not as much today, but back when the developer's money was flowing, I am sure the kickback side of things is what attraction to the job. The chairman, on the other hand, is a $125K/year position and it is his job to run the county and look out for the future. It is not reasonable to ask him to give up his salary. Even a "simple tree farmer" needs a little income to take the old lady out to burger k -

Is Drew unconcerned about the right to trial?
FreeBird replied to Cabe's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I guess that I always thought that Lane was concerned with keeping cases out of the courtroom and was highly likely to work out a plea in cases. It would be interesting to know the percentage of cases presented to the DA's office actually made it to trial as well as the number that were bargained down to reduced charges. -
While I have no horse in the post 2 race, I would tend to favor the candidate that seems to be "out there" and accessible. His opponent seems to be a ghost in the wind - all I have seen is her sign trash along the roads.

When will the county produce an electronic version of the budget? Oh, I still see that $475K subsidy for the private EMS zone holder. -

The programmable thermostat that I installed was around $75. My bill was $400 last month - the highest ever! I switched to light beer in hopes of decreasing cooling costs. -
here are a few more ideas from Walter Reeves: using diatonatious earth: http://www.walterreeves.com/gardening-q-and-a/flea-control-diatomatious-earth/ Homemade pyrethrin: http://www.walterreeves.com/tools-and-chemicals/pyrethrin-insecticide-homemade/

When I had flea problems a while back I learned that I had to attack on two fronts - kill adult fleas and take care of any eggs in process of becoming an adult flea problem. An insecticide that has permethrin in it works well. I shopped at do-it-yourself pest control and the concentrated products that I added to my home sprayer were not too much per application. You then have to take care of the eggs. I used another concentrated product called Precor IGR (a growth inhibitor which keeps a newly hatched flea from maturing) that is/was available at home depot. Probably around $5 per applicati
